RE: Ship John
@Mizmazzle thanks man, i was worried it might shrink too much in width, but its literally perfect

RE: Ship John
Woke up early and just went for it. Warm soak, warm wash and then machine dry and the fit change makes a HUGE difference

RE: Ship John
Just got mine in and wow is this fabric awesome. This is 3xl, I think 2xl would’ve been too snug but I’m debating giving this a warm wash/dry to shrink k it up a little bit

RE: Ship John
@bluemantra as the others have said I think it still looks solid, a little long, but I too prefer the longer length for the most part now. also helps it to be able to be worn more as an overshirt if you want. These pictures are making me really excited for mine being out for delivery

Anyone have a Townes shirt and can comment on it? Look nice but I guess also all sold out. Maybe you have to wait for drop?
I have the Sashiko ori and waiting for the striped one to deliver tomorrow. I love the Sashiko version. It’s a little on the long side, I did shrink it following his directions and it definitely shrunk but either way I wear it almost daily it’s super comfortable and well made

RE: WESCO
@SourPower thanks! I absolutely love the lugs, wanted to distinguish them a little more from the ISP pair. I actually sent the shop vancouver pair in last week to get lugged as well, really excited to see how those turn out. I have always loved the burlap/lug look

Collection picture. I have a problem… I also want more
Iron Heart Germany custom CXL boss with lug sole done by unsung house
Iron Heart Germany custom boss British Tan
Franklin and Poe Umber CXL mister Lou
The shop Vancouver honey badger roughout burlap
Ironshop provisions boss in roughout -
RE: WESCO
@SourPower I didnt notice any difference at all, literally none. the roughout is definitely really durable. the only thing that happened was the edging ran off a little, but i just used some edge dressing and then I actually waxed the midsoles. I have a really high instep, so the break in period is especially brutal, but after the soak and then some daily wear theyve been perfect and no pain anymore. I dont use the insoles yet, but I imagine at some point I will be able to
-
RE: WESCO
@SourPower so I know not everyone is about doing this, but I filled mine with warm water for 30 minutes and wore until they dried and the difference was night and day. I believe the double layer midsole adds to the rough break in, but that roughout is thicccccccck

RE: WESCO
@bluemantra I have 3 pairs of rough out. Ironshop provisions which is the thickest heaviest I’ve ever worn. The shop Vancouver which is a middle ground, what I’d expected of a rough out, similar to the thickness of cxl and then the British tan are insanely supple. The inside is an actual smooth leather in the shaft so it’s much more comfortable off the bat. It’s a great pair.
I’d say they’re softer than your standard cxl and the break in time is effectively none, at least for me. I can’t comment on the horsehide, I’ve yet to have any. One day…

RE: WESCO
Basically they assign you a date and then a few days prior to the appointment you get a notification and then you ship them in, I usually just dm them on instagram and they send me all the info there to fill out
-
RE: WESCO
Hey thanks, I’m super stoked on them. And yes I believe it’s the vibram 100. I have an appointment in a few weeks to have them do my shop Vancouver honey roughout pair with the same lug sole. They did an awesome job and super fast turn around

RE: WESCO
Just had these come in last night. The custom boss from the Iron Heart Germany website. I think these might be the best fitting pair to date. The E width is great. I have a pair of Lous in 10.5E also but all my others are 10.5 D

@hgering27 I believe that the ISP collaboration is Seidel Cowhide Roughout, not Horween Horsehide.
ah ok wasnt sure about the details there, all I know is they are insanely thick compares to other roughout boots I have
