RE: IHSH-207 - The Almost-Crazy Check Ultra Heavy Flannel Western Shirt
I wash mine at 30-40C, 800rpm with regular washing powder. Others may disagree, but they are only clothes made of cotton. Wonderfully designed, beautifully cut of excellent material, but still clothes. Wear, wash, repeat.
neph93 do these UHF shirts stretch after wearing?

RE: IHSH-207 - The Almost-Crazy Check Ultra Heavy Flannel Western Shirt
Hand washes or indeed low spin machine washes at 30C won’t cause shrinkage @Indigohuntsman. Stick to that and you’ll be fine.
Hello neph93, and thanks again.
I warm soaked my Wabash 12oz western shirt (xs) recently, which had similar measurements to the (xs) 207, and shrunk slightly, mainly in length and more of a snug fit now.
And any special detergents to be used with these UHF?

RE: IHSH-207 - The Almost-Crazy Check Ultra Heavy Flannel Western Shirt
Congrats on the UHF! They’re unreal aren’t they? Nice fit on that, but it looks like you don’t have much room for error, so be careful washing/drying. UHF can shrink a whole size with hot wash and tumble dry.

Thank you sabergirl,
I'll try to be careful, maybe with a luke warm handwash?
I think you'd be safe with a cold handwash. I have a few uhf's and have only washed 2 of them. Both are xl's and I did a warm machine wash and hang dry and saw a little bit of shrinkage. My other uhf's in size large haven't touched water yet
Thank you Gaseousclay.
I will be careful, as the fit seems perfect now.

RE: IHSH-207 - The Almost-Crazy Check Ultra Heavy Flannel Western Shirt
@Max:
Damn, I should have bought this one.
For your wife? This one may have been a little small on you mate
@Indigohuntsman Nice score. It looks great. Be very careful washing though, these will shrink easily with too much heat/agitation.
Thank you neph93,
A bit worried now, so with a warm soak, would that be fine, you think?
I'll take some proper fit pictures, over the weekend. -
RE: IHSH-207 - The Almost-Crazy Check Ultra Heavy Flannel Western Shirt
Wow just tried on the IHSH-207, and the Aspero cotton feels amazing, and the colours are psychedelic
Finally braved up and grabbed it, before it disappeared -

RE: IH-101J - 1946 101J Riders Jacket
@wdw:
@Indigohuntsman, great to see this thread getting revived with a new wearer. The 101 is my favourite IH jacket and yours too should look like this after a year if you wear it a lot…
Hello and thank you wdw.
Your 101J looks amazing, with the shirt you are wearing.
Especially against those turquoise blue buttons.
I'm sure I'll get there, slowly but surely -
RE: IH-101J - 1946 101J Riders Jacket
That jacket looks awesome on you, wish the measurements had worked out for me,as I wore Lee jean jackets as a kid. You made a great choice.
Thank you Jett129,
for your kind words.
And I'm more than happy the 101J -
RE: IHSH-62-ind - 12oz Wabash Western Shirt - Indigo
It will loose length with a hot wash or repeated washing. The ends of the shirt will also curl, shortening the length further.
Thanks again neph93
