You might be disappointed with the BR sweat after having the strike gold sweat… It feels so flimsy compared to strike gold's material. Have you tried the real mccoy ball park sweats? they run about a size bigger than strike gold. They are not quite as soft but are about same thickness and they age really well. and they are prewashed so little to no shrinkage is to be expected.

RE: The Flat Head
Self Edge will be much easier and cheaper and faster to do an exchange with if you do get the wrong size. There is tons of info on how much FH denim shrinks, so you should be able to know before you wash it whether or not you have the correct size…

Oh really? I swear they had that 2 or 3 years ago… I guess I have to get it now.

Nice, I always liked that sweat shirt. I regret not getting it while I had the chance!

RE: The Flat Head
No clue. Tried them on and there was a little extra room in the waist so I bought them and washed them. I'm sure both self edge and rivet and hide sell these and have measurements on their sites.

I bought mine from self edge so I was able to try them on first so I knew what size I needed. Might be worth it for you to buy from somewhere that will accept exchanges if you don't get the size right.

RE: The Flat Head
Hey @Anothercaller , the 3012s use the Pioneer denim, same as many of Flat Head jean models… Information about shrinkage of this denim is pretty widely available. I'm usually a 32 in most brands, I went with a 33 in the 3012. The waist on mine measures 32". They have been machine washed many times. Hope that helps! Let me know if you need any other measurements.
One more thing, are you sure you really want this model? The fit is kind of strange. The taper is very strong. I don't really wear these anymore because of how much they taper. They don't look terrible or anything, and they are definitely not a skinny fit, but I wish they were wider fitting from the knee down. (This is like the opposite of a reddit post, "Guys does anybody know a tailor that can un-taper my jeans??") Anyway, definitely recommend some Flat Head denim, just be sure to check out all of their different fits. You can never go wrong with a classic straight cut.

Racing vest should be here tomorrow [emoji3]. Now the next item. Looking at the M65 Field Jacket the size Medium chest, length and body measurements look good but I'm worried about the sleeve length. Anyone with a Medium or Large want to take some full sleeve (collar center to cuff) measurements for me?
@veloaudio my m65 size medium: measuring in a straight line from center bottom of collar to end of cuff I get 33.5"; from center of collar to shoulder: 9.75", sleeve: 25.25"; shoulders, straight across: 19.25". Hope that helps,, let me know if you need other measurements. I will say that if the jacket fits you in the chest, it's very unlikely the sleeves would be too short. Its probably safe to go by the sizing guide on the tag. Its a great jacket!

@Bluegrass great fit on those pants! Ive been thinking about getting that map shirt, too. I already have the other two map shirts so it seems crazy to get another, but I have the mechanics trousers that use that same cavalry denim and I love it. Maybe it would actually be crazy if I didn't have all three map shirts?

@Anesthetist I have the tripper type II, the one with the white straps and the stripe lining. It's great! Nice size, convenient pockets, pretty sturdy…I really wanted the type III with the green straps and camo lining but by the time I finally decided to get it it was already sold out.
Also, just got the indigo garrison shirt yesterday, new favorite shirt. Best MF release in a while in my opinion. The fit is perfect, really cool pattern and killer fabric. I usually wear medium in MF sportsman shirts, went with a large in the garrison shirt. Measurements on MF site were accurate for pre and post shrinkage.
