Chilling' in Copenhagen before six straight days work. Right now I envy some of my colleagues who's covering The footie championship…
And, erhm it's just the denim folding, I'm not THAT much in love with the 4002's

Made a wishlist for my wife to check before getting a B-day present for me…. I only listed IH-stuff and it totaled 1810usd. Wife looked at me with that "I'll divorce ur sorry arse" gaze...
Well I never said anything about buying it all at once
That shirt looks good on ya
Thank you all, I am enjoying every day I wear these. The fabric is amazing, I find myself checking how they look a little too often checking how they feel to the touch a little too often (which quickly can lead to awkward moments in the train on my daily commute) aaand even checking what they smell like, which then leads to awkward moments at home and head shaking from the missus
I'm a sucker for details and exclusiveness so the 4002's are simply spot on.
A little evo is showing, now close to four weeks of wear. Been wearing them everyday since I got them, cold soaked once. Best damn jeans I ever had:
And the pavements angle:
Nice to see other Seiko nuts out there. This is my Daily beater, Seiko Marinemaster 300m automatic
On a regimental strap, the bracelet is taking a rest

Seriously jealous, I love Bullitts but have no reasonable justification to own one.
This is my new bike, wanted something for longer rides and for track riding:
Rode 80 km on it yesterday and it felt really good. I know fixed isn't the most efficient for road riding but I like the feeling more than geared so I'll pay my dues for that. Legs are pretty sore right now
That is one sweet bike you've got there

Both are old ideas build anew by enthusiasts that love what they do.

Takin' it a little backwards here, I started out by posting in the DC4002 thread, and now I saw this Hello Thread. Well here goes:
Hi I'm Tue, from Denmark. 38, father of three, married, working with communication as a journalist.
I got smitten with the IH bug last year through a friend. And now, here I am wrestling a pair 25oz jawns.
Thanks a bunch all, very kind words. I AM very pleased with the fit, I like it snug. And when they settle a bit, I'm sure they'll be perfect. I do love them right now, all new and crisp but I'm looking forward to watching and feeling them transform
I'll quit spamming with photos every day
Got some better quality pics today
It's getting obsessive this excellent piece of garment is rapidly becoming my new best friend
Journalist, might wanna check: http://www.thedenimdoctor.co.uk/
Thank you very much Seul, looks like a very fine site. I reckon the shipping cost will be a spoiler, though. I live in Denmark. I'll check it out and vote yay or nay for a repair.
Meanwhile, on the 4002's: f%~}$ gnawing n beating my hips. They are feisty f#%~rs.
Wore them to work all day. Took a good 4 mile walk in Copenhagen and a 3 mile walk home from the train station. Phew… 1. Round and we're still battling over who's the boss.
When holes or ripped about cuffing-repair it!
I tried selling the 666's and didn't want to repair them before. A potential buyer might want to do it differently than I would, so I let them be. But since nobody wanted a pair of 18oz 666's, theyre back in the closet contemplating
The 666's are now way too big for me, so theyre not getting any attention, poor buggers
it's not the dirt in the cuffs, it's because the rigidness of the fabric
Oh, thx. I thought it was because the combo of the tiny pieces of gravel, grime n grinding that gnawed through. With input from This forum, knowledge grows
Fanx Alex1976, super stars are my favorites. The 4002's are amazing, the fabric is sooo nice and I really like the cut. I planning on zero cuff when they settle and shorten up a bid. My 666's got some holes from dirt inside the cuffs, and I don't need that to happen with these
It was mainly your fit pics that made go for the 4002, so thank you for those
Thank you Madmonday and Zhivago. I was very much in doubt about the size. But that sort of evaporated when I put the on. Very happy with the fit. They're nice n tight in the waist. So when we get to know each other better, ohTwo and I, I'm confident that they'll be perfect.
Looking forward to the whole breaking in proces
"hello you little fekkers, and welcome" is what went through my head when I saw the forty oh twos lyin' there. That was 'till I had to button them. "you stubborn piece of godam…..fekkin'......aaaaarh"
Bruised my thumb. Now after a couple rounds, the buttoning is easy.
But now, the little jester wants the last say in the question of cuff size. I fold approx 4cm. But no no, Forty oh two thinks differently and increases the cuff by a couple of cm. So I'm already at a tug-of-war with them. And I love them.
My first heavy denim btw I'm sold
Couple of fit pics. The image quality sucks 'cause of beat up phone.
@Dirty:
If it were me my boss would be getting the cough cough phone call. Yea boss I am so sick
Any other day, and that would've been my strategy
