Why do you guys release these beauties hours before payday? WHYYYYY?? My wallet (and marriage) don't appreciate it! 

As for soaking/washing, I soak for 2-3 hours in warm water (40-45 C) with a spoonful of salt, then rinse thoroughly in cold water several times. Even with the UHRs I had very minimal shrinkage, going by feel maybe half an inch to an inch, but it stretches back out (no leg twist whatsoever unfortunately).

To care for the leather patch, I use a wee bit of mink oil before and after the soak to keep it nice and supple. Since it's veg tanned, the oils in the leather can be easily lost during washing, resulting in a hard brittle patch. Mink oil avoids this and although it changes the colour a bit I think it's worth it as it leaves it supple and almost waterproof (I am a hobbyist leathercrafter).

Thank you @neph93 ! I've been looking at the Nickel plated garrison in natural. Do you have a specific insight into the belts? This may prove quite expensive…

I'm nothing as exciting as most of you guys, writing to you from Big Smoke (AKA London). Being in UK and getting next day on IH products is proving dangerous. I've already splurged on a pair of 634-XHS, a pair of 888-UHR and now an N1 whipcord jacket. Needless to say, I've become an addict and I'm already looking forward to the 888-XHS-IB and I'd like to snag a belt sooner rather than later…

Welp, I'm sold. I was gonna snag a pair of 21/23 UHR 888s, but I think I will wait for these to drop. They look truly awesome.

My advice is to try and get the 888s too. This iteration of UHR is the best yet. It is really amazing denim. The 888-nt are my favorite pair of regular jeans  (not double knees or overalls) ever.

I concur. I would snag both of i were u. I have them both and I don’t know what I’d do if I had to. Goose between them. I think having these two and the flagship 21oz is the trifecta of denim. I’m a lucky man.

I bought the 634 XHS last month, unfortunately I think both the UHR and the new XHSib would not go through the marital approval council :D, especially considering I'll probably be expanding both my guitar collection and fishing rod quiver this Christmas season or thereabouts.

If in a few months time there are still some UHRs in 36 I may very well get some, but i get a feeling that the XHSib will run like hot cakes.

First time poster, long time lurker here…
I am just curious, are there any plans on restocking the 1955 cut (preferably UHR, 21 or 25 oz) any time soon? I have just plunged into the deep end with a pair of 634s in 25oz and I am absolutely in love, and I think the 1955 would prove to be an even better fit.
