I`m about to stop resisting and going to order a quality leather jacket. Not too keen on Aeroleathers looks/cuts and stumbled on Simmons Bilt Pacific. It's everything I have been looking for.

I have no clue on different leathers and I need your help, please.

• Black

• No pebbles, visible grain (is that the correct term?), etc

• Doesn't fade or "show character" over time

• Medium or heavy weight (need some advice on this subject also: how much does a heavy weight jacket weigh? ???

Nope… these were supposed to be my first pair.

Looks like it´s a no-go for me. Size 34 thigh measures 31,1 cm now. And size 36´s waist is too big. Damn. I was almost in love with these jeans.

Im well aware that 666 sizing has been covered already. But Im going to ask for your precious opinion anyway.

I measured my favorite (=best fitting) jeans and here are the results in centimeters. Current jeans on left, IH size 34 on right.

My current jeans have a centimeter or two of room on the waist so it shouldn´t be a problem to fit into 34 IH´s, right? How much shrinkage can I expect to have on the inseam? I`d like to get them hemmed properly (chain stitch) right away.

Thigh sizing might be a problem if IH`s shrink more than 8 mm. My thighs won´t get any smaller, that´s for sure.. crossfit, baby! 

Sooooo, any thoughts? I`d go for size 34. Size 36 has 91,4 cm waist and that´s waaaay too spacious (is spacious even a word?).

Had a day off from work. I decided to spend it with an angle grinder, sandpaper, files and a metal polishing machine… went from  to  8). Next time I`ll wear a mask.

Could someone please weigh a pair of 666´s, size 30, 31 or 32? I accept all units, metric or U.S.

I`m curious to see how much heavier they are compared to my current favorite jeans.

Forum member Jii had a pic in Facebook where he was standing in front of huge Iron Heart sign. For some mysterious reason that sign popped into my mind one day, which is kind of weird because I left FB ages ago.
Anyway I decided to find out what Iron Heart stands for… and oh boy, am I happy!
Now my soon-to-be-wife makes fun of me because I`m spending hours watching pics of men wearing jeans. Got to admit, it has a gay-ish sound to it.

I always buy quality, not quantity. I like durable clothing that is well made. For that reason I`m looking forward to buy my first pair of IH jeans. I really want to find out if it´s possible to ride a bicycle while wearing 25oz jeans...
