That is a real shame. There are a million cuts of low rise trousers out there.
They must be making young men differently these days. I have severe anatomical constraints to wearing women’s hip huggers. You know it used to be a man wanted to look like he had a big load in the front of his jeans and nothing in the back of them. Today, the reverse is true. Go figure.

For a "traditional cut" there is nothing better on the market (that I have found) than the IH1955s. If they could be made with the IH 14 ozs denim, then the OPs wish and my own would be met. 
Other than custom made jeans there are few options in HIGH rise denim. But the components are right here in the IH universe to make the very best. I am hopeful.
Very much interested in a lighter weight version (14 ozs) of the 1955S jean. I would sign up for at least 3 pairs.
The 21 ozs are terrific and I have five pairs, but they are too warm in my climate six months of the year.
Can we do this?
