@Cole that outfit is outstanding on its own merit but the perfect fits of the indigo N1 and the olive whipcords on you elevate it quite a bit. Congrats!
Maybe I should take that back…starting to feel a senseless “need an indigo N1!!!” urge when I only get 20 days a year of FREEZING COLD 12 degC around here.
And an N1 is way too bulky to pack on the bike on my trips to cooler mountain areas. Nevertheless, kudos to you!

@Giles That bit of curvy road is known as Caracoles. It is a 30 km stretch of 29 curves taking you up (down) 600 meters. 2200 to 2800 meters. Terrific fun but those 3 km fly by too quickly. Very steep incline. Averages 20%!!! Hell for heavy trucks, especially descending, where they cannot use disk brakes and must rely on engine braking/lowest gear.
Enjoyment hinges on luck too. If you happen to hit heavy truck traffic, it becomes annoying. Happens frequently because it links Santiago (Chile) with Mendoza (Argentina), two big cities with significant commercial cargo between them.
If you remember the classic car rally I shared here a month ago…they went through Caracoles.
Btw, caracoles means snails…so I assume it

One awesome shirt!!

Mango season arrived slightly early this year. Probably due to the unusually dry spell we’ve had. With the two very large trees I have here, mangos are ALWAYS super abundant between November and January. Many spoil, and many are given away.
These are the most common mango type around here. Super hardy and huge, very long-lived trees. Fruit itself is very tasty and sweet, but quite ‘stringy’; so fibers tend to get stuck between teeth. That is the main drawback to it, and other varieties are becoming increasingly popular and more sought after.

Just picked up the fallen ones since yesterday. Storm approaching, getting windy and these guys start coming down.

Many unripe ones still waiting for December sun rays to start turning yellow/orange.
