Wore mine today and I love it. The fabric is different from other sashiko pieces I own. This feels sturdier and less flimsy even though the fabric weights are similar. Was breezy and cool out (mid 40s F) and it kept me comfortably warm with just a tee underneath. As others have stated, the body length is shorter than other IH CPOs. Still works for me but if you are thinking about buying this definitely check the measurements for length if that is a concern for you. There is greater potential for showing butt crack if you lean over and are wearing low/mid rise jeans. I like to layer this over an untucked tee, so if you like to do the same this works best with some shorter length tees (e.g Warehouse 4601) if you don't want the undershirt to stick out past the hem of the CPO.

@Mizmazzle Yep it's definitely gone. On the Japan site the model is wearing the shirt with the red W but it is probably one of the samples as the product images don't have it. Also, the IH Japan staff blog has images of some of their employees modeling the stock they got in and those don't have the red W either.

Had been putting off getting a pair of these and couldn't stand waiting anymore so grabbed a pair from Rivet and Hide which still had my size. So glad that I did. They fit perfectly and are soft as hell right out of the bag. I own the indigo 555 21oz and those are the best fitting jeans I've ever had. Was hoping to get a similar fit out of these and it seems that I have. Couldn't be happier.

@Karol I just picked one up a few weeks ago. Did you notice any shrinkage when washing it? I've seen this labeled as "One Wash" some places and other places don't say. The tag on it said to expect some shrinkage. Was wondering what to expect when I eventually wash it. I'm more concerned about the body length shrinking rather than the width.

Mine arrived yesterday and it is a very beautiful clean looking shirt. The pearl snaps really add a bit of contrast which works well. This is my first poplin piece so wasn't sure what to expect but the fabric feels very lightweight yet sturdy. Wasn't really feeling the blue label on the pocket so I removed it and kept just the red embroidery. Looks much better in my opinion without it. I wasn't sure about the sizing since the measurements seemed a little wide but noticed the IH crew stuck with their usual size on this so I didn't size down. Really glad I went with my regular size as the shirt fits perfect and is not baggy at all (but also not too tight).

Love this one. All of the flannels have been bangers this season. I have so far resisted the 399 and the 403, but I think this is the one that might push me over the edge.

@deanclean Saw your post and ended up buying one of the MF denim caps. Just got it and it fits great. Hits the sweet spot in regards to the profile (not too high and not too low). I ended up removing the label as I prefer just a plain cap. Thanks for posting this as I didn't know about it.

This initially wasn't on my radar when the preview dropped in June, but it has grown on me over the months. The measurements and photos have really sold me on this one. I'm still trying to stop myself, but I'm pretty sure I'll give in. The color combo and pattern is just too beautiful.

This flannel is beautiful. The copper and pearl snap upgrades look so good on this. Probably gonna miss out on this one as I won't be in a position to buy until early next month but if by some miracle my size is still available then I would definitely grab one of these.

@Mizmazzle The answer is both. I have the Amundsen and want to get the selvedge heavy flannel. It's a disease.
