Blending in with my new IH bottoms

We’re off to France. Took the ferry from 8 am to Caen. Coming days we will be visiting the beaches of Normandy.

The sizing of the black tag 32 is more on par with sizing of the IH-814-IND, which I already have. So I was thinking of size 32 indeed.
But the measurements of this indigo overalls threw me off a little, thinking I needed to go size 30…

I think I have read on earlier releases, the length of the straps were on the short side for smaller sizes. Is that still the case?
Or in other words, with my 6’1” is it feasible to order a tag 30 without having discomfort in the crotch area?
