That whiskey shell is something. Great looking wallet. That s-hook chain looks awesome.

Since I'm not an expert on leather, I couldn't explain how or why the grain is so irregular. I know that I loved it since I saw Ray making pieces with a similar grain in black. I do remember it is a British Horsehide Bridle. The interior is burgundy harness. I think (don't quote me) that it is similar, if not the same, as this leather:

I'm sure if you ask Ray, he'd be able to tell you more about it. All I can tell you is that it's awesome. The gnarly grain and scar-like marks are one of the features that sold me to it in the first place. My wife's clutch is made of a bridle horse exterior with a similar grain pattern in brown.
I can't wait to see how your wallet turns out. I'm a big fan of Ray's work. So much so that I have about 5 wallets from him (including a Revelator).
Here is one called The Watcher:
This is my very first wallet from him - a clean, simple billfold:

This is a custom Apocrypha using my MBB cutoffs as inlays:
This is my Revelator sticking out of my back pocket:
From Ray's Instagram (he's a better photographer):
There's more, but I'm sure you get the idea. Ray makes quality stuff, and his designs keep getting better.
I can only guess that since he won his fights, he was able to apologize and do some negotiating with his contract. Anthony Johnson was let go b/c he missed weight in two weight classes. His last fight was at a catchweight of 197 (supposed to be 185), which he lost against Vitor. He now fights at 205 and is being considered for a return to the UFC.
He made weight yesterday, and I think he's only missed weight twice (not recently, though)
Max Power will have a pair of white pants by the end of the comp. That pair looks awesome.

@Omega:
I am the other way around. Love to get/wear FH, but sizing and fit are a bit off for me. Looking good sirxlaughs. A rant from me, not liking the label FH is using on their shirts.
Thanks! The label? Do you mean the piece on the left front pocket? If so, I don't understand Flat Head's reasoning for this either. I've only seen it on shirts made by their other brands like Glory Park and Black Mint. Shirts that are branded from Flat Head don't have any labels on the outside (that I've seen).
My native check work shirt actually measures a tad under 27" which is awesome…I have a short torso as well. I would have way more iron heart shirts if they weren't ridiculously long on me
I'd have more Iron Heart shirts if they didn't drape over me in the back. I have the wabash western and a short sleeve IH shirt that both just have weird sized arm holes for me and leave too much material in the back. I love the shirts, but the profiles aren't as flattering as the Flat Head's for me.
@Cold:
Both shirts look great! I'm surprised at how long they look on you, though.
Thanks! Short torso? haha. I'm about 5'8. You can see that the fold around the last snap where the shirt lands on my belt buckle. When I tried on my first Flat Head shirt, it felt like I put on a shirt designed for my body type.
The westerns are longer than work, right?
I think it varies from model to model. All of mine seem to be roughly the same at about 28 inches.
Here are some fit pics of my Flat Head western flannels so you can see how much they taper. The blue check is by Glory Park the black/white is Flat Head. They are both size 42. The Glory Park one tapers slightly more. I also have the pink(salmon)/black one from Self Edge in size 42 which is a work shirt style. It doesn't taper as much as the western. I can take a picture of that one too if you'd like.
