So after 4-and-a-half months of wear, I figure it's time for some pics and retrospectives.
To give some background: I'm a not-that-tall, terribly skinny guy (we're talking 5'7", 125 lbs. since high school) who's had issues finding clothes that, for lack of a better term, don't fit me like a pair of clown trousers. The only other thing I have that's remotely close is a pair of Levi's 511s (skinny with stretch fabric), which I have kept closely dear because dammit, I don't see too many clothes that fit me ideally.
So I've tried to re-do my wardrobe as of the last year-and-a-half or so, and I've still continued having trouble with other clothes, but especially jeans. Quality jeans, that is; none of this pajamas-with-rivets nonsense I've had to deal with. Thing is, I also like heavy clothes…which aren't usually built for skinny people. (Especially Iron Hearts.
So many beefcakes in the fit pics.) Anyways, after a few pairs of jeans that were dud fits, I learned my lesson and did my research, taking painstaking care on measurements, until I found something that would be close enough to a fit to take a shot--the 555-BLKs. Now, I'm not exactly a big person, but I always liked a bit of rise on my jeans. I may have to put a more open mind on that soon enough.
These are pics after 4-and-a-half months of wear--fit pics to follow:

I also noticed about a week ago that the buttons have started "fading," if you will. Love it. X3

Me want honeycombs.

So all in all–love 'em; I understand what the Iron Heart rave is all about. Things I wasn't crazy about--these pants have stretched a bit in the top block (any more and I might well have a case of diaper butt going on), and the knees have bagged some, but aside from that they've been wonderful all the same. In hindsight, I probably could have gotten away with sizing down 1 more for a 27, but hey...it's all a learning process.
I'll post some fit pics in a bit to get some input on what's next--my clothing budget ain't exactly huge, but I'm a fan of saving if it means I can use it for something I really want.
On another note:
@Giles:
We're doing the 777 in 25oz…....

If the size is right, then the price is right!
