That's right, but I never had a problem with Iron Hearts leather patches after 40 or 50 degree washes, so was just wondering if there were other reasons.
Great overview, Appfaff.
I'm about to soak mine, and I want as much of the shrinkage gone before I start wearing, so I think I should do a cold soak and then a hotter wash. The guidelines recommend a cold soak followed by a wash no hotter than 30 degrees celsius, but I guess that won't get rid of all the shrinkage - so I was planning on a 40 or 50 degrees wash. I was just wondering why it is recommended not to wash the UHR hotter than 30 degrees?
Got a pair too - sized up one and looking forward to see the fit.
Shortened cross post of a few pictures from from the final submission thread. Can't believe two years went by so fast.
I have really enjoyed the IH Megabusters for the last two years. One initial soak and three or four washes. They have had a few crotch repairs, one hem reinforcement and new stitches for the top buttonhole.
