So this arrived today. Feeling pretty lucky. I've tried to buy many items from Ship John with zero luck thus far. Just happened to catch the Ship John live stream where Mike announced they were selling this all black / dry wax version of the Wills. I believe this only 1 of 30 pieces. Sorry for the terrible pictures. Much better on their website obviously.

Pretty happy with how this turned out. I'm kinda short and boxy myself.

Completely agree with @DeeDee85. I think the black W is going to look great. In fact, I was already considering trying to carefully sharpie it. This is a plus to me. Really hope the measurements work!

@Davids_denim Thanks! Completely agree. Took a lot of pictures and these were the best, but still doesn't quite capture it correctly.

Never posted a fade pic. Not near the photog some of you gentlemen are. Been wearing these on and off for about a year and half rotating with some 888XHSIB

@Tago-Mago very good! I assumed that since they are releasing the same day as the indigo, they were in house already seeing how they updated the indigo sizing chart. That's what I get for assuming. Thanks!

Any word on when the black version will release? Same day?

Can you clarify the dye / dye processed used? I believe the description here and the description on the product page differ. The product page says sulfer dyed and will fade while the forum page says reactive dyed and will not fade.

The 21oz sashiko used for the 397 but dyed SBG, gun metal buttons in a CPO.

Have you measured the latest run? Are the measurements at the top accurate? It has a date of October 2020 under the post.

The measurements at the top of the thread are perfect. I hope they stay very similar to this.

Hi Alex. Will the 888 and 634 release at approximately the same time? Trying to decide between the two. Be nice to know the measurements of both and not buy one in hopes that they don't sell out before the measurements of the other are released. Thanks

I have read that the slub denim breathes the best of all denim that Iron Heart uses. Will the overdying effect how well it breathes? Looking for a summer pair.

I know in the description says these can shrink a half size with continual wash and tumble dry. I am curious if there will be any stretch with initial wearing. I am borderline to small in the chest with the one I purchased, but very happy with the rest of the fit. Does anyone know if they will stretch at all? Or should I go with the same size in the work shirt which gives more room in the chest with the sleeves being approximately the same length?
