Damn, I just bought this impulsively upon my arrival at SELA. They are absolutely fantastic and the new arcs are a welcome change. I love the fit, this denim and everything about them. Even when trying them on at the shop they were already easily buttoned and extremely comfortable. Just as ruben said this is the cut I was looking for! Roomy top block with a tapered leg!

Although owning three pairs of IH denim, I thought my craving for denim was complete but now my interest of adding some more denim is there again. This will be mine very soon… I haven't had the opportunity to own any Iron Heart shirts yet and I am extremely excited to show off my soon to be denim tuxedo.

They're currently in the wash right now, will post, post-wash pics afterwards. I'm really liking this denim, I want to get the 634s now too!

Here is my humble pair. About a 1 1/2 years, worn in rotation with other pairs.

If you are prone to crotch blow outs/crotch rips, I am afraid they will happen whatever you wear.  It depends upon the shape of your upper thighs.  I am super tough on jeans but have never blown a crotch in my life, but I know people who can shred a crotch in 2 weeks.  The propensity to do so increases with Iron Heart because the denim is thicker and thus there is increased friction.

But if it is going to happen a stitch in time works wonders, waiting until you can gat a baseball through the hole is probably leaving it a little late…..

So probably for the 9634z's since it's heavier than say my Sams but the fit is kinda the same it just creates more friction. When sending them to SELA, should I ask them to reinforce the 9634z so when they fix the hole and I do manage to blow another hole through my pants it's just the patch behind the reconstruction when they do rip? Does washing your jeans more often help with blowouts as well or is that merely myth?

Considering that the SBG I thread is dead, I will post my first SBG BB's here! They are 2 years old with about a year of heavy wear! These have been decommissioned for sometime due to a crotch rip. In regards to that, how could I minimize my chance of a crotch rip? I usually wear my pants a little lower than my waist and I'm assuming that plays a part (correct me if I'm wrong). Pertaining to crotch rips, how would I be able to be proactive about it? My 9634z's have a crotch rip 10 days into wear….. Absolutely ridiculous. Please help me with some suggestions/tips.

Hello guys here are my BBs that are 2 years old probably with 1 year of wear. Several washes! I have a quick question that really doesn't pertain to this particular pair. With every pair of jeans I've had I've had problems with crotch rips but they only occur like 1+ year down the road. For my 9634z's I've worn them about 10 times and I have a fatass crotch rip (Will include picture). The 9634z's are also my most loose pair of jeans as opposed to my others. It should also be noted that I wear my pants a little below waist just because that's what's comfortable for me as opposed to directly on my waist.

I've had my pair for about 2-3 weeks ish had about 10 wears because of other jeans in the rotation. I love everything about these jeans thus far but there's something off about these. Usually for my 21oz BBs, my BB Sbg, and my Samurai's i usually all wear my jeans about 2 inches off my waist. I did the same for these and not even a month has passed and I have a fatass crotch rip. What do you guys think the reason for this is? It should also be noted that these are the most loose pair of jeans that I own. Could that be the reason why? And would you guys have any recommendations as to prevent this in the future once these are fixed by SELA?

Dear lord, don't get me started with washing…. I wear these when I work and I get ice cream stains all over my pants so they're washed pretty frequently which honestly doesn't bother me at all. And these were my last indigo pair of jeans so you can use that as reference for what's to come ;).

I've been wearing them since last Christmas…. For the last 2 Christmas's including this one, I have purchased myself a pair of jeans haha. This year will be the Indigo Busters!
