Hi. Sorry to ruin the 888 posts in the 888 post. But I am thinking this is the next pair I want to invest in. Question on waist stretch...on my 14s and 21s I've gotten around 2 inches of stretch in the waist; how much stretch beyond the listed waist can you get in these? (I got a belly working against me and leading to waist stretch, but like my pants snug and never had 888/high rise). I want something that ends around 42" in the waist after maximum stretch

I got 2.3" stretch in the waist on these. Went from 35.7 to 38. Will post some evo pics when I happen upon some good lighting at home

Well I ended up with the stretch and then some. Got a full 0.5" in the thigh, by soaking the top block, wearing it and exerting a lot of pressure on the thigh, though I did expose some of the out seam in the process.

Hi, I'm sure this has probably been asked before somewhere (sorry if it has) but, can you get 0.3" stretch in the thigh on these? The 666S-142 was my first pair bought through IH (learned my lesson after the fact the difference in SE and IH thigh measuring); I've had it for a few years and haven't really worn it because the thigh is tight. These came with a thigh of 12.7. My 777S-21 have a thigh of 13" which works for me. So wondering if I have a shot for one day breaking them in and having comfort or if it's a lost cause?

Hey, long time lurker but new forum member (can finally search, haha). I've been looking for a thread like this for a while.

I was wondering if we could revive this thread, everyone told their favorite over 10 years ago with a whole different arsenal of options. I want a new denim and am having the toughest time deciding, and figured a post like this would be the easiest way to see what everyone likes the best and why, and maybe it can help me make a decision.

For the limited pairs I have, the 21oz indigo is my favorite. Love the feel, the drape, the slow fade, the heft, everything about it (not the best at describing denim haha).

@SKT thanks! I am grateful where I get to live. Redwoods in my yard, with ocean and mountains close by. Unfortunately no stores with IH nearby though lol
