Here is my pair similar fades in the back pocket. Mine is the older v2 version but same fabric.

RE: Why so many weights?
All feel different and have very different Characteristics. The 16oz slb is the most breathable. The 19 is a left hand twill and unsanforized. Its stiffer and more rigit with great fade pottential. The 14 oz is a nice all year weight. Then you have the 25oz heavy but softens up beautifully with wear and fades very nicely. You have the 18 with vintage fades, the 17oz with natural indigo. They all feel different, fade different so at the end of the day it is a matter of preference and variety.

RE: IH-555-SST - 21oz Shinayaka Selvedge Denim - Super Slim - Indigo
Some people have an elitist mentality. That true homage bs and cannot see 1 inch past their index fingure. Customers like that you can loose for a lot of trivial reasons. It's difficult to make everybody happy nor should you try. Stay true to your values and the right customer will always be there.

RE: Lifter problems
An easy test of mobility is the overhead squat. Load is not important. If you can overhead squat an empty bar with full depth, ample thoracic extension and heels on the ground you are generally in good shape. It will expose limitations at the upper back, hips and ankle.

RE: IH-526L - 19oz Left-Hand Twill Selvedge Denim Type III - Indigo
My experience was different. I was expecting the 25oz 634 to be difficult to wear in the beginning and alot of forum members were having a hard time button them up. Never for me. They felt pretty comfy by day 2. My 634 leftie v2 still gives me hard time to button the top button after 2 years of wear. Its interesting how we all have our own personal experiences.

RE: IHSH-295-IB - 14oz Selvedge Denim Western Shirt - Indigo/Black
That looks great @MassiveThighs. Never go by tag size. Learn the measurements that fit you well and go by those. You will get consistent and better fit all the time and avoid all the back and forth hassle associated with returns.

RE: IH-777-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Super Slim Tapered Jeans - Indigo
@Kasi he already addressed the issue by giving them a soak before starting to wear them. The only time I see this on IH 25oz is when people cuff them and overtime the fabric weakens at the cuff folding and starts tearing. I have never seen it on honeycomb.

RE: IH-888S-21 - 21oz Selvedge Denim Medium/High Rise Tapered Cut Jeans - Indigo
@meltdown. You are going to be hard pressed to get any shrinkage out of the 21oz. It's sanforized and once washed. I mean washing it will not shrink it. I may tighten a little bit and then back to original measurements after 15 minutes of wear. The brake in process is very straight farward on the 21oz. Just wear them and they will soften more with time. They start pretty soft to begin with for a heavy fabric

RE: IH-526Lod - 19oz Left-Hand Twill Selvedge Denim Type III - Indigo Overdyed Black
The 19L od is much easier to wear of the bat compared to the 19L. I have both and it's night and day. The 19L is way stiffer and takes longer to soften up.

RE: Denim tailor or not?
Same here. I can also see the top of your thigh but there is plenty room there. With the 888 cut you can size down and the thigh measurement doesn't move as much as other cuts.

RE: Prevent the saggy butt with a big gut
I am roughly 5 foot and 11.5 inches around 240 pounds and in 634 I can wear tag 36 and tag 38 depends the look I am going for. In 888 I can only wear tag 38 as tag 36 is too tight around the knee. I cannot wear 666 the thigh is just too tight and I cannot go up 2 sizes but I can wear a 777 tag 40 that it has an actual waist size of around 39 inches. 555 is out of the question. It will look comical on me . I also love the 463 in tag 38 but it's not a core cut. Never tried the 1955's but I think they will fit. I generally like wide hems. I am not into narrow hems.
