666 - The Devil Made Me Do It - 666
-
Sorry Monday (madmonday), but I mean that I find it easier if you have 2 pairs of jeans… 1 to wash frequently, and 1 to wear without washing if you want some nice high contrast fades. But its sad to hear you hung up the devils
-
madmonday in parentheses is priceless. thanks for clearing that up lax. that could be true. might give it a try. devils & my dc4s or my 634s or my too many choices.
lax, i'm not really looking for high contrast fades or anything. we were just showing this cut & this great denim some love. the devil is getting so much love from so many different folks & i need to get back to my denim rainbow.
it was a good run, but this was originally planned for this summer
*in hindsight crazy idea since it was too freakin' hot

Hehehe, I sold off most of my denim, or at least tried still trying to sell some of it off… But I have my Samurai S500s with my Samurai S5000s and soon a pair of 666ODs. My S500s are my frequent washing pair, the S5000s I am going to try and hold off about 6 months before washing and the 666ODs I am going to try for a year.
I understand you on the fades though, I personally wouldn't want some crazy fades, I am more into those subtle vintage-y fades, but they won't be as high contrast but they can still be high contrasty. I think you did pretty well at showing how nice the devil is... er - the denim that is ;).

Trying to revive these bad boys from the depths of hell. Threw them in a boiling hot soak for an hour. Not much happened, maybe a half inch in the length at most. Been wearing them the past few days and am trying to get through it but stacks right now are not my bag. Strong possibility I am going to chop them for a single or double cuff. Not sure yet.
-
my devil's made me send them to jaco to get a new leather patch since i turned the original patch to bacon with a boiling soak.
i live in NY & could have easily gotten it done here, but it's always more fun to get things done by members of your family.
will let you all know how it goes
-
great job by jaco
-
that's a great flick
-
those look great el, i just got mine filthy changing a flat tire. should of took flicks since i had the camera in the car, but i goofed
i was never so happy to do some sort of handy man work & have an excuse to get some road side crude & grease on my jeans

punk rock repair El, I'm down with that.
