Wish i could say the same Matt. My old lady is a hard-ass when it comes to xmas gifts. Wont even let me look at them yet. Driving me nuts. She actually wraps presents right away so i cant look at them and they are wrapped so perfectly with about 10lbs of tape that i cant even peek lol

Sorry non native English speakers… that's the real problem with war, isn't it? The opposing sides seldom if ever speak the same language.
Back to pants chat, I feel like I had totally dark blue XHS one day and now, all of a sudden, there's whiskers, butt fade, crotch wear and dope honeycombs... it came right out of nowhere... I'm going to let the wife wrap these on xmas eve and give them to me on xmas morning. It will be like I'm getting a totally new pair of pre-worn jeans.
Que?

If we're being honest here, I must admit I may have taken just a little advantage of my wife while she was being medicated whilst in labor with our newborn… she was so wasted I probably could have bought another pair! If it wasn't for that baby mine would probably be hiding in a closet somewhere as well.
I feel pretty bad going on about how much I love my jeans when the less fortunate are suffering the xmas buildup blues.

I need a little help/guidance so I can see if my fit will be fine or if I should worry.
I just got my pair in the mail today, rushed home from work and tried them on. They fit exactly how I wanted except I found I have a decent gap in the back between the waist and my back. My big ass is having a bout with the rear rise and apparently winning. The rear is over an inch lower than the front and when I sit or bend over it I get intense "plumbers butt." I just wanted to know if anyone else had this at first fit and, if they kept them, how they faired once they broke them in. I figure once broken in the entire area would loosen and give me some more wiggle room for my ass but was unsure how much to expect from the 25oz denim. Hopefully I'm just worried about nothing.
Upon second thought I guess those cupcakes for breakfast weren't a good idea.

Oh yeah, wicked plumber's butt. Don't lean forward if you're eating at a fancy restaurant. On the other hand, it's the perfect excuse to buy more belts. I like this one…

I have really enjoyed following this thread the past couple of months. I was immediately hooked and had to order a pair. I love the color and the sheen of this denim. Even though I have had several other brands of 20+ ounce denim jeans, these are quite a bit different. The first jeans I remember being more comfortable to stand and walk in than sitting. Not that that is necessarily bad, I tend to sit too much. Getting in/out of the car and trying to step to the side is a small challenge. Because of this I have not worn them much yet - only times I know I will be walking and standing a few hours. Even with this little wear I am noticing they are starting to shape to my body. Sort of strange feeling a stiff pair of jeans becoming fitted to my body without becoming much softer. Similar to the way my boots shaped to my feet! They do get better every time I wear them. And each time I wear them I have fewer instances of "no, you are not stepping that high" or "no, you are not stepping to the side".

In Singapore for a few days and wouldn't let the heat and humidity stop me wearing my 666 25ozers. But somehow they got stained just walking around in them on the lower left leg near the hem. Marks and stains are all part of their life this mark is far from subtle although it gets lost a bit in the stacks. Doubt there's much I can do about it. Adding a good wear pic too.
