Are you a RAW (STF), Selvedge, un-sanforized loyalist ?
-
Just curious, how much research have you done on this topic and where is your information coming from?
I didn't care about the tensile and tearing strengths of raw denim until you said that Iron Heart's 23oz denim lasts longer than other denim garments, eventhough this has not been mentioned with the release of other sanforized jeans you have purchased. Having been privileged enough to visit the manufacturers, you should have better access to these numbers than I. All I have to go from is the internet and my personal experience with 6 pairs of sanforized raw denim, 15 pairs of sanforized pre-washed denim, and 2 pairs of unsanforized raw denim.
My sources specifically so far:

Let's see yours…

All you have is a list of internet links?
I'm not continuing this with you. I invite you to work in the industry for years, work with (literally) thousands of pairs of jeans which people bring in for repairs, visit mills around the world, and spend time with production managers at mills. Then we'll talk. A list of links telling me what i already know about the process of sanforization and textile tear isn't what i asked for. -
@adam313:

Yet you don't post them. You're the one selling these jeans, not me. You should be able to provide answers when your customers ask for more information. Or, past customers… Go on your way, then.
And I will go mine, thanks to everyone in the Iron Heart Community, "You're Cool". Wish there were more of you in the U.S. The majority here are kiss-ass snobs. I'm out!

i'm NOT amused. i'm just paying attention as i might get some information i didn't have before. i think the SE dudes do a great job slinging their product & ordinarily providing a really high level of customer service. i've sent messages at zero-dark-thirty & got back a coherent response in a matter of minutes on several occasions. with that said, i think we ordinarily have a very respectful tone on this forum & most interactions are for the most part at least cordial even if the individuals in the exchange HATE each other.
i guess i say all that to say keep it light, no mud slinging, make your point(s), ask your question(s), & move on.
i do not know kiya but will say publicly respect for responding as it was easy enough to just ignore & respect to adam313 for saying what you have on your mind.
damn, maybe i should take the MAD of my name now

Guillermo Díaz never got the credit he deserved in this film (Half Baked). He really was the comedic glue that held the trio of semi-intelligent stoners together.

yeah you're both right of course.
i'm riding with mad till i'm not mad & then mad again
-
wow i missed that last comment.
can't say i don't agree. . . . but i still stick around . . . . sending a pm now adam313.
want to know if i'm missing something. as always thanks for putting that up lando, still at work & i read this stuff quick & sometimes miss sh!t

just putting this here as most of the action i saw took place over on this side.
adam313 no hard feelings as it is always welcomed to bring your own perspective & experiences to the forum. a difference of opinion is fine & it's no need to distance yourself from the forum or say "peace-out"
in any event, no hard feelings & i've been told to f^ck off in much worse manners. let's see . . . . what else, i won't bring up your personal issue or any mitigating circumstances that might have spilled over to forum life & contributed to your "mood" while posting. instead i say keep posting.
*i mean you already have about as many fit pics as me & you only been here for a brief time

adam313: did you get any shit for posting those rants from any of us, besides Shoreman (but he's our Forum Asshole and Canadian so disregard)?.. Stick around lad, as I said before: I like your feistiness Didn't expect you to go down that easily!..
Someone's got to be. I don't even have an issue with Adam. (Hell, I believe I even sold him an IH belt.) I've been known to fly off the handle and shoot my mouth off before thinking; I don't even mind that he called me out over at SuFu. (You need to have thick skin to get through your day.) So, I'd hate to see the fam lose a member on account of a silly quarrel.

Yeah, +1.
+2
And it is interesting to me that all of yesterday's exchange was deleted for the SE thread on sufu…

Not sure what you're looking at, it's all there.
