IH-9301
-
So this dude LandoCal just invited me to this forum to post shots of my 9301s. I totally love em and have beaten the piss out of them since I got them 4 months ago.
This is what they looked like out of the box.
Bling.
Here they are after being worn every day (Give or take a literal 1 or 2 days when it was warm) for a little over 4 months and a week.
I give it 2 weeks before proper blowout
belt buckle rust stain. -
Glad you got on here and started this thread. I just didn't feel right posting your flicks in the IH-9634 Thread. I saw these this AM on another forum and my jaw dropped. 4 Months folks! DAMN!!!!! "Golf Clap"
Edit: And is the "Crotch Blowout" I see?!? First entry in http://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?board=9.0 please! Close-up shots and inside shots would be great!

Hello Jack, those IH 9301 fit you impeccably ! WOW ! And they are absolutely beautiful after 4 months of "beaten to piss" wear. I have those same jeans (posted pics on this forum after 30 days of solid wear), but I doubt that mine will take on the character of yours after any amount of continuous wear. I'm a girl and live an embarassingly sedate life…it's not natural for me to "beat the piss" out of anything.

Fit is very good, indeed. Main material still looks good for the most part but stress points blew out. Either you are an animal with those jeans (details please) or they are not as good as they are said to be. How often did you wear them over the four months? How many hours per day? Important: did you ever wash them?
As Haraki-san says it is important to soak them at least a couple of times because the thread won't stand up to the friction of the heavy material.

From what I have read on Sufu, JackCrank is an avid Cyclist who rides every day to and from work. How far I do not remember. I don't believe that he has ever soaked his jeans which would definitely explain the threads failing. I am sure he will fill us in with the details soon but that is what I remember for now. They are an amazing display of evolution in 4 months!

I'm so glad that I HOT washed/HOT tumble dried my IH 301S and 9301 just the other day. I turn my jeans inside out, as many of you probably do too. Though I'll never be as hard on my jeans as JackCrank or many others on this forum, as much money as I spend on this stuff, I want them to last a few years ! I can't see IH not living up to the claimed quality standards…Till is right, the jeans probably weren't soaked.

I thought this was only necessary for the unsanforized jeans.

Haraki's advice above was for the 643SR which are unsanforised.
TWHR01 are sanforised but not washed - they need to be soaked too to get the rest of shrinkgage out of them - there is still some
The rest of the "standard" range of IH jeans are sanforised and have been gently (you'd hardly know) soaked to get them to size...G

Bumped from the grave here!
Anyone else rocking the 9301's? Were these a SE exclusive model or were they available elsewhere? I should really just post in the WTB thread about a pair of w31/32's!

Also, these will now be discontinued and taken over by the new Black fade to Grey SE denim of the IH-7301…

Belgium, I need "dress" pants
Lando, gotcha on the discontinued nature of this line. I'm definitely into these though, a chap is selling a pair with a w31. I'm a 32 wasit usually, but with the holiday season etc coming up i'm not sure I can brave sizing down one.
–ninja edit
dress pants is a joke btw
