yeap the one for ihuk customers thought you went through the threads since you posted my pics from a little while back. It felt pretty good too
Oh that's sweet. I'd love to spec all the materials and design a jacket for IH. I guess I didn't think anything of it if someone mentioned this was your idea in the varsity thread and that you put work in on the project. Seems there are tons of suggestions on the forum for new products but no one else gets credit for it, which makes complete sense as Haraki is the designer. So I'm glad you opted not to have your name on it. I thought the inspiration for the varsity was from when Haraki visited the Aero factory but I guess I'm wrong. Good job on the collab though, looks good.

Haraki has nothing to do with this as far as i know & i think the someone that mentioned my involvement was Gile$. maybe he was being nice & throwing me a bone
one of the reasons i have one & he has one is because i was kind of there from the start. the PMs are entertaining between me & Giles with me asking for all kinds of chambray & crazy madmonday stuff. if it's okay for me to publish our private conversations in the appropriate thread i might just so folks see the entire process (but of course i have to get his okay first). pretty sure i said i had a small hand in it, but you are right i should take more credit for it.
uwm thanks for all the kudos & questions. it feels good to be able to have well made things that you are into despite what they might cost some folks on the retail side, but who knows, in a week i may just sell them both and be over this varsity thing.
wait, was there any more questions?

of course you can add your opinion finn, but tuesday trumps finn & uwm any day of the week.
funny, any day of the week
would be a shame if she wouldn't if you ask me ;)…and thanks for having "a little hand in this"...and thanks to Giles for posting their time with Haraki and Ayumi in england (at the aero factory), cuz that was the first time I/we saw lovely Ayumi in one of the Aero varsities, which I think was the actual inspiration right

so let's say I have an item that I want to sell, and I go check out the wtb board, is there an easier/better way to find if anyone wants the item I have than going through everyone's unique wtb thread? not a problem if there's just a handful of threads there but once the wtb board gets it's going to be unreasonable to navigate everyone's unique thread. And sure I'll glance at folks wtb list when they post it but I may not remember who's after what when I'm staring my closet someday and thinking damn I'm out of control and I decide to part with a thing or two.
Maybe someone has a good suggestion how to handle this? Is there a way to search this that I'm not thinking of? My thought, use a hashtag, like #wtb and put that in your post along with the item name(s) you want. At least that way I could use the forum search function, search the hashtag and the item number and easily find any wtb posts. For instance thomas just posted up a list of flannels he's after but if I go search wtb ihsh-11 his post doesn't come up. And I can't limit a search to the wtb board only.
Any other ideas? Am I thinking about this the wrong way? I just know it's frustrating if folks post up wtb lists, and stuff on their list gets put up for general sale and they miss out; I mean our goal ought to be easily matching up sellers with folks after their stuff.
Shoque is looking into hashtags for the forum - with little success, it has to be said, so far…..

How many of you guys wear jeans year round? It's getting to the point here where I can't do it anymore. Probably won't wear them more than a couple time from now til August.
This guy!
100+ in NYC a summer or two ago…

IH shorts when it's too warm for jeans… Otherwise just some 14 oz. jeans...
Thos TW-634S's will be a perfect addition to the IH arsenal!

Or the IH-811 - My go to hot weather bottoms…
I am looking to grab the IH-810 for this same reason. Hoping my sizes stick around until I can grab them.

I have the TW1220's but in NC that's like wearing a blanket on your legs, so humid!
-
True, the 1220s have a tighter weave, so they feel warmer, despite being a lighter weight. Just wear the 634s. Though I've worn both in Texas summers, the 634s feel a bit better. I'm pretty exclusively a jeans kinda guy, so I'll almost always wear denim, regardless of the weather.

Having a car without air conditioning makes it necessary for me to utlize shorts in the summer. But, I think now that I have moved, I will be able to rock the jeans all year long.
