IHPT-02 - Loop Wheeled Pocket Tee's
-
Thinking about a Mustard and a Petrol now after getting the Black and Navy yesterday…
Might do the same. Tee's are so essential here in the summer time and TFH tee's are kinda expensive even though their awesome quality.
More IH tees then.. ::) Might get the Navy and Mustard the next go around. And since its extant, I'm assuming Mr.G can get some shipped in if necessary.

What makes flathead tees so good?

Aside from being loopwheeled, they have a real nice character to them. Their soft and comfortable. The cut of the shirt is kinda biased to slim, small dudes(me), so our bigger boned brothers kinda get the short end of the deal. And I believe they have a triple stitched collar. Some people don't like this, but me personally, I like it as it avoids bacon collars.
TFH tee's usually have high expectations as the company actually owns loopwheeling machines, so they make tee's seasonally. Unlike other's who have to outsource them.

Are you sure you are right about this? I know that they have 1, but I am fairly certain they outsource the production of the knit….In fact I am almost 100% positive.....

I'm probably wrong, what I do know is that have a machine. I stand correct. Thanks for the clarification, Mr.G.

Yea, I saw on sufu where kiya put up pics of there machines. But technically I wonder why would it be better, loopwheel is not loopwheel outsourced or not? Is there "better" loopwheeling? I know kiya claims some companies say there stuff is loopwheeled yet it is just tube construction, but how can they just lie, idk.

LandoCal, I have the petrol, it's awesome in person. I got black and petrol and passed on navy. I wanted something brighter for the summer, so the ladies take notice
if you want the ladies to take notice (good or bad), don´t wear nothing at all…only when it comes to the top part though!

In house or out sourced, one thing is certain, TFH puts out a high volume of product. Their tees are very very good. Quality wise are they worth the price difference vs IH's tees which are also very very good? Well that is debatable and subjective. I own several from both brands and like them a lot.

I prefer IH's loopwheeled tees. They're a bit lighter and more breathable than Flat Head tees. In the 8 months of summer here in Houston, that makes a difference. Flat Head tees also have really tight neck holes with slightly stiffer material. I find that less comfortable than the Iron Heart tees. Overall, both make excellent shirts and I'll continue to buy from both.

Just got my blue bags.w-10, 2 forum tees and a navy pocket tee. The forum tees are nice, love the printing, but the pocket tee quality and hand is amazing! Thanks Giles, these are a bit wider and shorter than I anticipated but they fit pretty good, I'll have to use these as reference for the future
