Jii I am really happy it was you

@Jii:
….. (and I was stuck at home by the iPad refreshing the shop page every three minutes for six or seven hours)
Wow, that's dedication!
A few questions for G.
1. Any plans to remake these?
2. I recall the Westpoint shirts had similar problems (i.e. larger sizes on khaki were in short suppy). This time, short supply in sizes across the board. What was the problem during the production process? -
Don't know about a re-run, prob not in this particular guise…
I did not ask Haraki what the problem was. Knowing would be interesting but would change nothing.....
Sort of thing I would ask him face to face over a beer, but would not waste his time by asking via email, which would have to be translated etc etc etc
-
Red is now extinct - shortest life span yet known to man…....
-
I've done my part to kill off the black as well.
-
Seriously, why no (or not as much) love for the black?
-
You will do another run for this shirt right G?
Already sold out in Japan tooDon't know about a re-run, prob not in this particular guise…

Already sold out in Japan tooWe've had these at all Self Edge stores for a week now, feel free to place a phone order or go into one of the shops. What's left of what we didn't sell over the weekend is going in our online store tomorrow.

Crazy how quick these went!
Regarding red v black, I think both are gorgeous and it might be my favorite black IH flannel yet. That said it is not a million miles away from the IHSH-47 (clearly different, but just not massively so), so in terms of spending $300 on a new shirt it felt easier to justify the red. That, plus the early pictures of the red from months ago when it was in the pipeline probably left an impression on a lot of people I guess…
