IH-814-IND - 12oz Wabash Painter's Pants - Indigo
-
Lol I knew that was coming. I am actually having my left over material made into shorts for my 4 year old. My taylor is putting together a pattern hopefully there is enough material.
-
slightly OT - I started a thread in the General Chat section to drum up interest for IH to produce BROWN Wabash for use in vests, pants and shirts, etc
nobody does it, but it could be great looking and a coup for IH to be one of the first
here it is, so show your support if you like the idea:

^haven't done anything yet still trying to figure it out.
I will say the 814's absolutely make awesome shorts.

I've been trying to decide on these or finding some 2nd hand ducks to chop

You can't go wrong with the 814's just upsize one. I'm also going to chop a pair of the new brown cotton work pants when the come out.
-
They don't shrink at all. Washed mine several times. They are just starting to get some evo. Ill post some photos in the next week. They definitely don't fade as fast as the 811's.

I washed mine 8 times in hot water w/ detergent, and after seeing no change, did it several times in boiling water trying to get them to fade and so far there's been very, very little fade
I even added a little bleach to the boiling water experiments, and left them submerged for literally hours, making sure to keep the water super hot
almost no change whatsoever
anyone else have the same experience???

It's synthetic indigo, which is the same, chemistry wise, as natural indigo. The threads are rope dyed, so they should age nicely over time. The weft yarns are also indigo dyed, so the fade will have a blue cast to it. Knowing Haraki-San, I guarantee the yarns are dipped a ridiculous amount of times (20-30), that's why it's taking a second to fade.

Get the original IH-811 if you can, they fade pretty easily…

I was confirmed for 634s size, but even if size chart are same, people there advice me to go one size up.
Size : 1.75m, 79kgs Waist : 84cm/33" with strong legs Thigh : 58cm, Calf : 42cm.
For my momotaro G019 in W31
Waist : 81cm and strech to 84cm after 3 days, front rise : 29, back rise : 39I was thinking to go for W32" but should i go for 33 instead ? It doesnt strech much ?
Got an edwin 505z in W31 that was really look baggy for me (86 strech 90 >:(), i was able to remove it with buttons, buy the same in W30 (83 strech 86), better !
Whats your size ohighyo ?
-
Just to help get you a response sooner, I think OhYo is 33 like me in most IH, unsure what he did size-wise on these.
