I wear Large in all IH shirts (including the super black 16 oz) and chest size is around 43-44.  I got the FH denim tag size 44 but had to sell it cuz the chest was too small for me.  Most of my FH flannels are tagged 42 but that denim shirt is cut really slim.  Chest on that one is close to 41.5.

Rough answer to your question, the TFH winter flannels to me seem about three quarters as heavy as IH winter flannels
The TFH winter flannel fabric is great, super soft brushed inside.
