Ande Whall

I took some pictures of my roughly 4mo Jackknife yesterday.

I ordered mine like within hours of availability on the website, around the beginning of Oct. if I remember. This 'production' model differs from Clegg's prototype somewhat, most notably the use of 13.5oz Japanese milled denim instead of Cone. His features more selvage details (e.g. in the cuffs) and probably a few other things I don't know about. I'm not complaining however, I really like this thing and wear it as often as possible.
I decided on this jacket because it is cut slim and long, like me. I mention this here because I would have almost certainly gone with an IH jacket if they were available in a tall size.

nice to see a kiwi getting noticed. i am not 100% on this but seems like Giles is able to custom make most things in IH

Here are the ande whalls I posted a fit picture of a few posts up. They have about 11 months of wear on them, and a few washes. They are being washed now, and I will post some pictures when they come out tomorrow if people are interested
are you kidding me?…o/course we are, these really look beautiful and well worn (though i really don´t like the arcs!)
-
I, for one, would be interested in more detailed shots. I always liked the look of evolved Whall's!
-
I love the evolve of these too…I find myself on his site all the time looking at the hall of fade section. I'm still yet to jump I to a pair though

Those are awesome corporalclegg, Ande is a great guy and its fantastic to see a fellow Kiwi making such wicked stuff!
I love the new Grizzly Denim Jacket: http://andewhall.bigcartel.com/product/grizzly

Thanks guys
The back pockets are in unbelievable need of repair, the seat is thinning and needs to be patched and the center back belt loop is about to bust as well
Roping at the cuff
Close up of the train tracks
Tried to capture the variation in the color of the denim but after a few tries gave up. The different shades of blues/greys on these are just beautiful

Absolutely beautiful

Thanks buddy

Just received my SR7 Buffalos and I'm absolutely astonished on 2 fronts.
First, I ordered them on Wednesday night (UK time). Ande made them to order, posted them and I received them on Monday afternoon!
Second and most important, they are beautiful. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is amazing and the measurements are spot on with those on the site. This natural indigo left hand twill is a beautiful denim, which I think will age subtly. Finally, the patch is an absolute monster, thickest piece of leather I think I've ever seen on jeans!
I've been coveting Ande's jeans on the Interweb for quite a few years now but this is the first time I've taken the plunge. If anyone is on the fence about this brand, get off and buy a pair, I would definitely get some more in other denims, especially the SRs.Anyway, enough waffle from me, I hope to start wearing these in the autumn.

SR8 is out!
13oz summer jean with dirty weft, blue arcs and lined back and coin pockets. I don't need them but I definitely want them! -
Those are sweet! Although I could do without peekaboo.
