Levi's

there is no love with LVC at the moment. limited sizing - no 33 and they have dispensed with 28 and 36 at cinch - but also cone mills or not the selvedge isn't anything like as good as the lee riders. what's the point in a premium line if you are sabotaging your own brand at point of sale?

@Dirty:
Levi's 511's
Asos Tee
$30 bootsi got some 505 'unwashed' selvedge from asos. hilarious. not only washed but clearly so. i got them in the sale for £80 but did anyone really pay £160 for these? cinch seemed to think it was through ignorance but this is a major retailer selling a major brand. page one surely?

Can anyone help me with some info on a Levis Type III Jacket 1967 Dry same jacket as sold at Aero Leathers (I think)
http://www.aeroleatherclothing.com/product-detail.php?id=171
Mine looks exactly like the pics and The large label across the shoulders reads made in usa, but the label with washing info etc states made in turkey.
Any ideas of how much I should sell it for ?
Size 42"
thanks

For an LVC trucker jacket made in Turkey, dry, unused and with all tags and labels, I'd say somewhere between 100 and 150 € sounds fair to me, depending obviously where and to whom you'll sell.

Just got two pair of these Commuter Cargoes from Levi's.
I haven't wanted much from Levi's the past 5 years except for the Filson collab shit but I couldn't resist these.
They're designed for riding bikes.
Reflective accents
U-Lock holder
Tons of nice hidden secure pockets
Ankle snap to secure pant legI forgot how well their cuts fit, in the larger sizes, compared to other brands.
So sic.

Just got this old big E type III which I've identified as from 1969 and made in San Francisco… Summer of Love edition in terms of time and place
So much life left it it, really in shockingly great shape.

Look interesting. Just bought them? Or have you had them a while. I think the only other company I've seen that uses military herringbone for pocket bags is Dry Bones. And I think the painted arcs give a cleaner look to pockets somehow.

Bought them yesterday. I did a very hot machine wash to get rid of the "shining". They are very roomy, but fit surprisingly well.
Something is about to change in the LVC universe. They are bringing back all the production in the USA (jeans, shirts, jackets and all) and seemingly are determinate to dig deep to their archives. I saw one pair of their new 606 orange tab repro: no rivets at all, skinny cut, very beautiful (but non selvedge) sanforized denim of a bright blueish indigo. I don't do skinny, but I found them wonderful, really. Maybe "wonderful" is a a bit strong word, but that's the idea.
LVC has betrayed the expectations many times, so you have to take it slow…This is the ladies' version:

Wowzerz on that model….

I recently joined the forum a month or two ago and haven't really posted much but I'm currently wearing a pair of Levi's Made & Crafted tack slim (waiting on my raw busters that are getting hemmed at SESF) I've been wearing almost daily for about 2 months.
They're made in Turkey and non-selvedge but I didn't notice there is a selvedge option or maybe I picked up an older lot. For $100 flat, so far I like them. They're cool jeans but nothing amazing, they weigh in about 12oz and don't seem to crease too well but we will see… I'll post some pics once I have some decent evo going...
