Wallets, Chains, and Reins

Thanks guys. I really love the blue.

All of the sudden in the past few days my wallet has taken on the smell of a strippers chach

You're supposed to take the money out before you give it to her…

I'm currently looking for a new wallet, and whilst trawling Rakuten, I found some weird and wonderful stuff. Like this in Strawberries and Cream Stingray…
These are made using leather inlays.
2ND are carrying a Redmoon HR-01 that's been painted white. From what I can make out in the Rakutenglish, this will crack and flake over time. I rather like this one.
They also have a discontinued Redmoon deerskin wallet, which I'm only mentioning because it's sewn with tendons, and I know a few people are into that sort of thing. There's a long version, and both styles are available in black.
And lastly, I saw that Redmoon are doing a hand-sewn version of the HR-01-A. The stitching looks a lot beefier than the machine-made wallets, and given that tends to be the weak point, I suspect it would last longer too.
-
White wallets?! Who are you, Truman Capote?
-
Damn, rumbled.
Though I did find a picture of the Redmoon SG-02 (the long one) after some wear, and it looks pretty cool.
Actually, the wallet I'm currently leaning towards is the Vim Beget Lasus and chain, which is more on the none-so-black end of the spectrum.
-
That HR-01 does look much beefier than mine… Nice to know they are offering this for the future
-
Maybe I'm nuts but I like the white Redmoon. It wouldn't be that white for very long, and I bet that it will evo in a pretty unique way. I might have to pick one up if they are still around later this year.

Thanks for posting that Anesthetist.
Is the child's wallet a RM-NLC? If so, how many cards can you fit in each of the slots?
I'm seriously considering going for a small wallet next time. If the RM-NLC II can swallow five or six cards, a couple of notes and coins then it becomes very tempting.
The childrens wallet is different. I will try to get some pics up this weekend. It's small and can only hold a few cards. It's perfect for when I'm wearing lightweight shorts, etc. I have to steal it away from my daughter though, since it's "hers".

Interesting, do many of you alternate between multiple wallets at a time? I'm strongly monogamist on that… My wallet has an almost visceral connection to me... Given the size of the thing that would be inconvenient if I ever wore skimpy clothes with shallow pockets
-
Anesthetist, I think that I've already seen pictures of the Children's Wallet. Is yours (or your daughter's) the one with the circular, triangular and square cut-outs on the inside.
Glad to hear that I'm not the only one who likes the white wallet. There's a long version too, the CW-02AMP, if the standard is too subtle for your tastes. :o

i also like the idea of the white wallet. as was stated looks like it would likely yield some very interesting evolution over time.
-
There are also black versions of both wallets, pictures from the Rm-ism blog. Given the date of the posting, I'm guessing that the one I posted earlier is new old stock from 2008.
I suspect that the white would evolve in a more interesting manner, but I wonder how the black would turn out.
