Yeah, I suppose so, though tooled leather like this isn't entirely uncommon in Western circles here in the States. This one was made in Chris' neck of the woods.

Thanks man. I love western gear. Not really a cowboy hat guy but I'll wear understated shirts, tooled belts, and boots.
Rockin it with the JC today, but my black cowboy boots are sadly being resoled.

I have never seen Chrome Hearts made that version before.

There are a couple of Japanese manufacturers doing very similar belts right now.

He will make them to order; this one was. I would guess this is 2.25-2.5mm thick steer. It's solidly thick. You wouldn't want it super thick because the studs are substantial.
It's a great belt, well worth the asking price.
Here she is next to a 4.7 mm belt. I think I lowballed the thickness.
