Skivvy is great. Only issue with the ranch coat for me is the "m" acruates, but I've seen pictures of Christofe wearing it and it looks good. I really like that Western. Super high back yoke and the front yoke comes all the way down to the pockets and recalls a denim jacket more than a shirt.

I used black polish on mine, but it doesn't really stay around too long. Not sure quite how Christophe's got his SOOOO dark as I was notveven coose to the same shade. However in talking with Domingo who runs VEB he relayed to me how he dyed his second pair black and I intend to do this with my first pair as soon as I get them back in my hands from Zip. Glad to know my second pair will be the darker version though
I've got quite a few posts I've been meaning to put up on my blog and one of them is definitely on how I dyed my RC's. it's quite simple and painless.

Really love those. The contrasting stovepipe is so cool.

There he is! How's it going Dom?! I completely agree with MikeC on all accounts I've had several emails with him and his info is always helpful and educational.
Also agree with the Lofgrens and have been staying in touch with John about the next production run. Work boots just started about a week ago according to his email and he said proly be another production run beginning in the next few months for the engineers. I love the Baladassi and John also mentioned that companies like Hermes are buying up a lot of these tanneries so if you really live the boot if suggest dropping John an email expressing your Interest so hopefully all interested in baladassi leather will get a pair before they are no longer run. In the meantime if anyone sees some lofgren size 12s around for sake please send them my way as I am wanting to grab up black brown and the baladassi cognac. So glad to see VEB on here!

I realize this is OT but how do those Lofgren engineers size? I've been in touch w/ Atsuko at Speedway and he gave me some outer sole measurements, but I all they do is confuse me even further … Thanks.

Just like denim you can measure a good fitting pair if engineer boots you already own a get a "general" idea how these will work for you, there are a few different measurements used including length across the bottom of the sole, width at widest part of sole. Wall-to- toe heel height etc. some even go as far to measure the circumference of instep across the top of boot which I suppose would give you a general idea of instep width but I feel that due to varying thickness of leather this measurement is not all that reliable. Also if a boot has an insole or you can manage to get your hands I dude you can get a general idea of the inside length of the boot. Hope this helps a little bit. If your more specific I might be able to clarify some more for you. I don't have a pair if lofgrens yet but have read that they run close to MFRC if not just a hair bigger. VEB will proly have a better comparison for you as he currently owns 3 pairs if lofgrens and two MFRC. I believe.

that ranch blouse and the skivvy
could be my first step into some MF goodness
The skivvy is a great shirt. I've gotten a lot of use out of mine in this hot hot summer. I have my eye on the henleys they have coming out.

Skivvys are great! After purchasing 1 I bought an additional 6 to have a great shirt/undershirt every day of the week! And well worth it if your a white tee guy
-
The skivvy length is great too…
Still love the Stevenson pocket tee above all plain whites though

Thanks nerkg!
Finn, I have good news and bad news and they're the same. These fit perfectly
These may never leave my feet. OG RCs with Takeshi magic leather soles.
