Forearm/hand tightness with kettlebells is definitely not normal right? It gets to the point where I can hardly hold it and a burning sensation happens…. Thoughts on how to fix it?
-
On what moves? If that's happening while you're not really swinging the bell, (like squats or presses, for instance) you need to shift your grip so that you can hold the bell with your hand open.
If that's happening on swinging moves, then you just have really weak hand and forearm muscles, sorry.
Now that I think about it more, it could also be because you're trying to swing the bell with just your arms, rather than getting a full motion from the hips. Regardless, it sounds more like you have a form problem rather than a muscle problem.

Usually what gets me is like half way into it at clean and press. And only the left hand….gotta work that one more I guess.....
-
Could still be a form problem; I continually scrape one knuckle on my left hand as I transition the bell from swing into rack, and it's just the way I'm holding my wrist.
Try recording yourself while working out (cell phone sitting on a chair works ok) and then watching it to see if you can spot anything obviously wrong.

Thanks Chris, recording is a good idea.

Is it possible to have built up a gluten intolerance? I inadvertently ate something that had soy sauce in it (wheat, soy) and now for the last 2 days have been sick as a dog headaches, horrible gas, can't stop going to the bathroom.

"What's up, new fish?"
"Not funny."
"C'mon, lighten up. Get it, lighten up? You know, because you're heavy? Dude, that was funny."
"We're going to have problems, aren't we?"

Quit monkeying around, you two.

I'm not going to be using it anytime soon either, I'm a pussy, too. But Julie was in Austin yesterday, so she swung by the company and picked it up for me, so I didn't have to pay the shipping fees.

Weighed myself this morning and have officially lost 100 lbs. Thank You to MikeC for the pep talk, Z and Doug for training motivation and Seawolf for getting me into Paleo/Whole30. You guys helped me get my life back. I am indebted to you all. Thank you to all the other forum members who gave me the pat on the back during the journey (way to many to list). Thanks again!!!
