Consider there are 75 shirts in all ( I thought I read 95 shirts were made), and each shirt is completely sewn together by one person, you will need to decide whether it is worth it to own a piece.
Edit: 95 pieces for the SEXDB jeans.

Yeah Omega; I don't actually find the price outrageous, and I shouldn't have called my hypothesis cynical either, pricing to the market is just business. I've spent about that on an IH before too. Dead stock glass buttons and other details make it very tempting to me.

MOST importantly, congrats on the new store Kiya and crew! It's been enjoyable watching it come together over the past while, now the moment is here.
This x10. Big congrats on bringing SE to the PNW. Next time I am in Seattle I am going to take the 3 1/2 hour trip to check the place out! Might have to crash for the night with all the breweries in that district.

Mediums are gone now. I logged in 1.5 hours after the drop and there were 5, then thanks to me 4, and then pretty rapidly after that none.

Hopefully the sizing is correct. I will only buy roy shit like this from self edge because their sizing is always off and their return policy is a joke.
The sizing issues they have is exactly why I did not buy this…. Unfortunately because it is a magnificent piece of art.

Roy makes sweet stuff but I'm honestly amazed that his shirts sell so fast at those prices. Luckily I wasn't into this one…
-
Honestly they should allow returns on special items. It's not like they won't be able to sell the thing if it still has tags and is in good condition.
-
Congratulations Kiya on #4! Big ups man!!!
Shirt is damn nice too Roy…

They don't accept returns? I always thought their policy is that returns are accepted in exchange for store credit…
-
That is very true. I am assuming that's not what ohighyo wants (refund instead of credit?)
-
Yeah. Not a lot they can do about the inventory side unless its a refund instead of credit.

…which makes my post on supply and demand hilariously even more off topic than mine usually are
For the record… the margins on products we sell have never, not even once, been determined based on demand. The margin on a 3sixteen jean is the same percentage as the margin on a Roy shirt or jean. Roy's products have gone up in price since we first started carrying them because of the fabrics he's started using have cost him far more and more importantly the hours of labor have gone way up.
He CAN make a shirt in 45 minutes, a lot of people can. But when he makes a shirt like this new one, it takes up over 2 hours a shirt. When he was first making jeans he was actually able to make them faster than he is now because they were very straightforward, now he's figured out how to "improve" them and add in more details which he feels make the jean "better" in one way or another. In the end, the price has gone up mostly due to the increase of time spent on each garment with a little bit due to the fabric costs.
