Iron Heart IH-634S - World Tour 2010 - 2013

Just enjoyed the video, indeed great to have your voice there, makes it so much more personal. Nice accent, not too heavily "down under".
The jeans look fantastic, I think. Worlds better than any new or artificially "distressed" denim ever could. I wager you'll have a similarly difficult time of letting them go as I did when my -still unrecorded here- leg was over.
Another thought: that cap is a clever choice, suits you great, and this comes from a guy who abhors wearing anything on his head. But your face plus this cap = perfect combo.

Thanks for the support gents.
501, I was just instagramming with Finn saying pretty much so that about letting them go, really into them now :). The cap thanks, it's still love/hate on first sight by most. After years of baseball caps, I'm glad to have something totally different :).

So after Mrs Snowy came home, per the video, we headed into the edge of the city, an area called Surry Hills. Following up from last weekend, I wanted to check out some furniture and see how it worked/cat friendly it was.
Surry Hills up until the 1980's was slums/ghetto, since then it's been gentrified and is now one of the most up market suburbs in Sydney. Lots of amazing food, wine, bars, as well as galleries and boutiques. There feels to be lots of architecture firms around the area but have never managed to qualify why it feels like that.
After walking out the store with an Eames Lounge Chair, we went for a walk in the area to show some of the scenery
H-san anyone?
The view from my desk back at home as I was uploading the video. (smudges are on the outside of the window). That's the city in the distance. -
Mrs Snowy and I took the opportunity today to take the world tours down to Circular Quay and a proper view of the rocks. A lovely mid-afternoon stroll, and an area we don't visit too much.
Local / Aborigine Busking, well taking a break.
Friendship, damn straight, and Sydney Harbour Bridge sneaks in
MCA (Museum of Contemporary Art) under renovations
End of the quay, and this is what you get; Opera House - Iconic it is. If you look left from here you get….
ME! No well yes, but really Sydney Harbour Bridge
Mrs Snowy thought you'd all appreciate this
Speaking of which, here she is (3sixteen's from 2010 still going strong)
Now back around to the otherside, the old old entrance to the MCA
…which is in The Rocks.
…which contains Sydney's Oldest Pub. The carpet is quite sticky
Road-side beautification in winter.
Action shot of the WT's + my daypack Timbuk2
I saw this taco truck, the only taco truck in Sydney, and 1 of 10 food trucks in Sydney. I'd been craving tacos for days, and actually went to a taqueria yesterday that was closed.
More action shooting. Nice look @ the BANGLU-1 and my wallet.
Talk about lunch in an iconic location. This was super. And no points for guessing what the next few photos are ;).
Mrs Snowy's
I went Burrito but this as much as you'll see of it. Was hungry yo!
Opera House meet the World Tour
Tourist thingy
I'd be lying if I said this was for anything other than show. Still, fun to do
For those who like their iconic sights without goofballs in them
Then we got back around to The Rocks. This is a functioning gas-lamp. Neither of us knew this existed.
Pop-up Art expo with match-boxes and Sydney iconography
Sunday Markets. Tourist traps, looks like a few punters in there.
Local boots, RM Williams. Window shot.
Louis Vuitton, nothing subdued here.
Then it was a giant loop of the city, where this MLC Center building stands out as a big WTF.
4 hours after starting, back home. WT's taking a break on the Eames lounge chair I picked up yesterday. That's it for the weekend. Hope you are well, and enjoyed the touristy view of Sydney today. Been a pleasure having you with us.

I'm plainly and simply in awe! Sydney's icons, food, local color, an idea of the private day of the leg host plus spouse, herself shown as well, some really inspired shots, the jeans…..overwhelming.
If hard pushed to say something critical at all, shirt and shoulder bag cover so much of the jeans....but I'm sure we'll get t-shirt shots without a bag more than once again during Snowy's leg.

Carpeted pubs seem a bad idea. Hopefully, they've replaced it a few times since opening.
-
@RocknRoll thanks mate, looking forward to it
-
Sure it smells great too.

We have a night club in Gosport. It has the stickiest carpets I have ever seen. I am sure it is designed so that when one of the uglier (and thus at 2am and shagless and desperate) Gosport Babes makes a beeline for you, you are unable to escape…..
like flypaper…

Generally work from home today, but got a wake up call, and was called into the office for some serious meetings.
This is how I get to work. Have been commuting via bike for around 5 years now, love it. A few accidents, been hit by 1 car, dodged many more, still A+.
Almost @ the office on the way in, this is how Mexican is being taken on board in Sydney, as expensive/hip pub food mostly, sniffs
