Himel Brothers Leather Co.

Yeah… I'd really like to wear it all day but its 90+ degrees out.. 23...25 oz denim is bearable but I'm not tough enough to pull off a leather jacket in the heat.

All good and appreciated. They actually touch exactly to the wrist thumb joint when I'm standing normally it hiked up a bit in this picture. The sleeve was my biggest concern but That is exactly were I have all my sleeves sized to or look for them to fit). So I feel pretty good about it. When I get the opportunity ill grab do some pics that give a truer placement if the sleeve and then post with a picture I've got of David himel in his. My sleeves are actually quite about longer than where he wears his at.

Congrats! Enjoy it;)

They'll for sure settle too as that tough ass horse slowly yields.

definitely looks like a good fit to me…you must be smiling from ear to ear buddy congrats!
btw. was this designed for riding?
the zipper could tell that, since it's not really sewn to the bottom of the jacket...
(btw. that would be the only thing, really the only one, i could see myself having 2nd thoughts about this jacket!)...it's a thing of beauty though!
great move -
It is a cafe racer so designed to ride ergo the zipper stopping short. It's a pretty convenient feature when sitting down with it zipped as it doesn't bunch up but would agree they the same thing could be achieved through a double zipper. I know the general design of the Kensington is based on the J100 buco but it is a bit modernized as it has extra length in the body<~~ one of the selling points for me over the RMC j100 repro was the longer body and sleeves. The only real issue I have is the lack if gussets beneath the wrist zipper areas which I contacted David about before purchasing. He alluded that this was something that could be altered if I was dead set on it but its not a terribly huge deal to me.
Either way in regards to the zipper placement… beyond the break in period I don't see me zipping up to often except if weather absolutely demands it as I generally wear my jackets open

Cool jacket Tatmantall. I'm not jealous at all, honest.
Regarding the arms, bear in mind you'll lose an inch or two when it breaks in. But if they're down to the joint on your thumb then they'll be bang on.
Have you got the badass camo lining? I'm partial to the unlined shirt myself.
-
It is the camo lining. And I'll take a better pic n a bit of where it hits me it comes just below my wrist (just exactly wear my bracelet is in the pic is where they sit), I'm aware that there will be loss when it creases up but know that the HH will also relax as time goes on.

Looks dope dude. I also think the haircut looks good too!

Ok… Here we go, this about the best I can do right now... When I'm relaxed the sleeves still sit about 1/2" lower but its so stiff in the shoulder area right now any moving (even just bending my arm up to take the pic) changes the fit and boosts the jacket up off my shoulders... Needs breaking in obviously; however after about 20 pics these were the best to show the approximate length and this is with a couple layers on as I wanted to make sure that was possible as well. I'm personally very happy with the fit. Could they be longer?? Of course, but also feel like this is more of a traditional fit which is how I like it.Thanks for all the comments guys I'm really stoked in this beauty!!! Will hopefully become a family heirloom! Details of the jacket to follow this evening when I have more time

Love it! Gotta get me one. Probably next year. Kiya, open another store and have a sale!

Thanks on both accounts Ben!

It is a tagged 42.

Wow…..that jacket was made for you. Seeing it on self edge I always thought "who the fuck is going to wear this?" but you totally changed my mind. Also, I think shorter sleeves look really cool so that's a + from me. Enjoy this thing, you wear it very well!
The Heron is in my long term plans. I just need to get one direct from Himel because I'm not a camo guy. Other than that, the Heron is my dream jacket...
-
I would like a heron in the future as well but will proly wait until next year and have himel do it himself as well as I don't believe the SE OTR measurements in that particular jacket will work for me
