Yeah I'm sure spray is equally effective.
Thanks, I have to say when I first applied the preservative I freaked out, the preservative left marks exactly like this -
But after using the hairdryer and my hands to rub around the wax a bit, and then brushing, and wire brushing, they look good. Can't wait to wear them in some more, they fit beautifully.
That is asides from the bellows on the left foot, again something about my left foot means the bellows causes friction against my ankle where the bellows is sown onto the sides; the points where they fold in.
It doesn't hurt at the moment, but I'm concerned a few days straight of walking will cause pain.
Hopefully the tongue will just break in, it's really the only concern I have with the boot.

Sweet. I'm glad it worked out. I'll need to dub mine probably based on all the snow where I live.

If I can get them to look half as cool as that site that I linked, I'll be very happy.

Just saw these on instagram. Wow.

Hey chaps, after the discussion on dubbing rough out, I thought I'd give a before and after just for anyone thinking about doing it.
I should point out I used leather preservative (Viberg's own brand), and not official "dubbin".
Less light today but honestly that difference in shade is about right even in same lighting conditions.

They look great!

I bet you're relieved!
Gives me hope that a dubbing will work out well on mine.

I'll post pictures of the odyssey
