IH-634S - 21oz Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo

Fit looks great, and I love 12ax7 tubes

It should be noted that Iron Heart and Self Edge measure the waist differently.
Self Edge method:
Iron Heart method:
Thanks for that point, i didn't notice that IH measure the side of the waistband, and not the back waistband as all other do. I have to say i miss the point saying to align top waistband on back waist band as in http://rivetandhide.com/measurement-guide/.
Ahah, i have to measure all again to guess my 634S and 814 size
-
Ill be damned… Never realized that myself

I measure again and that doesn't change anything, same same

I read almost all pages, but i come with my measures to be sure.
Size : 1.75m, 79kgs Waist : 84cm/33" with strong legs Thigh : 58cm, Calf : 42cm.
My momotaro G019 in W31, the one with best fit. Confort but no need belt to wear it.
Waist : 81cm and strech to 84cm after 3 days, front rise : 29, back rise : 39If im correct, the correct size for the 634S is 32" as it will strech gently to 33" / 33.5"
Can you confirm ?
If someone have also wabash IH-814 :-*, W32 is OK too or i can size down ? Size guide looks same as 634S.
And final question, someone know what kind of harley is on the leather patch ?
Domo arigato !

I will say that I upsized my 814s (I am 33, went 34) and the general consensus seems to be to go up one size from your normal size on those.

I can't remember, but the answer is somewhere on the forum…..

Hey guys
I'm new here, wanna ask some questions regarding IH634S. Been eyeing for this model over a year now but kinda worry about the rise. I'm wearing size 44 by the way
I've S510xx21oz which is mid/high rise, it's fine with me and also FH3005, but the 3005 rise is a bit lower than S510xx but still ok for me. Are IH634S rise somewhere in between or more lower than 3005?
And is the IH634S 21oz similar to S510xx? The thickness, hard etc2?
Thanks

Hi blackice, I can't answer the rest of your question, but can answer this. S510xx is 19-21oz generally from what I've found. The IH-634S is 21oz, so yes, same thickness. Where they differ is the 634S is SUPER SOFT, and SUPER Smooth, they feel like the nicest pair of pants you'll own from the very first day. It's part of the sanforization process for this pair of jeans. They're amazing from day 1.

Hi,
one question, what is the best way to start worn the 634s.
Only wear? or soak? or anything else. Thanks for your answers
-
Yo Blackice, the IH 21oz has several processes applied to it after weaving (as well as sanforization), but the Samurai should be loomstate denim, meaning, it's woven and then cut and sewn. So answering your question, the only thing that's even close to the same is the weight. The 21oz denim doesn't shrink at all either. It tends to stretch about 2" in the waist with several wears.
-
I love you just throw them on go. That denim is ridiculous; prepare to be amazed.
