IHSH-86 - 2013 Heavy Herringbone Flannels
-
It's in the 40s Fahrenheit right now but will be in the 80s later. It's the 70 or the micro-cord today.
September comes, and aside from a forthcoming heat wave, it's like someone flipped a switch. Time to wear even more Iron Heart.
-
^are you talking about wearing the ihsh-70 and when you say micro-cord are you talking about the 73?
with respect to the ihsh-86, what a cool shirt. i can't think of a shade of blue that immediately catches my eye like this.
it is a testament to works inc. that the products they consistently release and the corresponding prices are one of the things that motivates me to graduate school and get into a career where i earn enough to be able to see a shirt like this released(or a dozen other products i can think of) and purchase it without it being irresponsible. similar to wanting to have the disposable income to travel, buy nice cars/motorcycles, the finer things in life, if you like.

I wish I could say that of my job. Guess it never changes (as long as you're doing legal jobs or try to have some ethics. At least that's what I think looking at the rich guys in Hamburg).
-
I´ll never be rich, but I have an eye for the finer things in life, priceless.
-
The finest things are free anyway.
-
Iron Heart is not free
-
I guess it will be. My Sh 70 is and it feels also different than my 37. Softer yet at least as thick.
-
Why no love, Finn?
-
actually there's way too much love for these! thought about it yesterday and since having a job, it's a pretty hard life for all of my colored flannels out there! "simple" is what I like to wear and what gets the most wear atm. …so not really sure if I can shell out 620USD for shirts that I would only wear in the evening after work or on the weekend!
maybe I'll get a blue one though, we'll see -
-
I'm passing on these as well.

UHF (hopefully) and ducks and deck are a lot for my wallet to bear. I am happy with the two '70 'boners I have, though their coloways are almost the same.

I feel you there. I'm going to do my best to spread the purchases out over the next few months, but IH will keep my wallet light.

Giles, in terms of thick- and heaviness, this be somewhere between the 32 and 37? Which I believe will be less heavy than the 52…
Sorry, just trying to understand. -
