1955S - 21oz Selvedge Denim "1955" Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo

Hmmm. That 21/23 decision is getting a bit tougher.
-
A few weeks ago, when there were questions about a 25oz version of this 1955 model, Giles had said that to launch a new model, he needed 100 or so orders.
Now we're seeing a new 23oz 1955.
So, does that mean that there is the potential demand for these 1955 pants is higher in the 21/23oz fabric than in the 25oz fabric? Or am I being too rational here?
-
Giles: are we still on track for a March 2014 release of these pants in the 21/23 oz version?
-
Are these meant to achieve the anti fit? The peeps in this thread have that going real nicely, but they are of a certain build. I'm assuming The Wild One look is the inspiration?

Is everyone clear that the rise on the 1955 cut is about 2 inches higher in the front, compared to the 634S. That means, if you have a gut at all, don't even dream of these. I've heard several people bitch about the MBB rise and these are even crazier, especially in the larger sizes. If the 634S is your "golden" cut, then this would be your "shit" cut. Not trying to be a dick, just trying to get the facts out there.

So slim and tall is good then for these aye? I'm a 31 waist with no gut in sight…

I wasn't gifted this, mofucks work to maintain it every day. $350 jeans in the closet are a good motivator to make sure I can still fit into them…

@simonc he is not hating at all, he doesn't want to see someone pick up a cut that will not flatter them or be comfortable on them. You are missing his point. MikeC is extremely knowledgeable about fabrics, cuts etc… He was just trying to help out. He sometimes may come off like a dick but, he is one of the most genuine, giving members on this forum.
