What's your favorite Beer?

I am mostly intrigued by "God Lager", it's quite a claim.
Fruitesse is for the lady….when I find one.
For your tastes Seul I would try to lay hands on some "Tactical Nuclear Penguin" or "Tokyo" from Brewdog.

All hail the Belgina beer pimp

Dinner at my mate tonight… For his birthday he gets:
- Cantillon Geuze Cuvée Saint Gilloise 75cl
- His part of the Etre Gourmet order: two Westvleteren XII, four Black Albert "Batch 0"
- Two old Gouden Carolus glasses
Other mate is going to drive us home so he gets a bottle of Gouden Carolus Cuvée van de Keizer red 75cl.
The Westies are outside as it's 11C° (perfect!) and I'm of course hoping my mate will offer me a XII if I tell him they're perfect to drink...

Hoping to add to my collection next weekend… I was going to spend a few hours in Manchester today, but the weather has decided to descend

MorP, for some reason I just saw your post. What are your thoughts on the TNP? One of, if not, my favourite beer of all time.
-
Hmm, I haven't actually tried it yet… Never found myself in the right mood. I'll try some next week I think...
-
"Nat en Straf" love that bit!

Cracked open (and drank) my Brewdog Mixtape 8 in a "fuck it! I've bought it, if I didn't buy it to drink it why did I buy it?" kind of mood. (Plus it's still widely available :))
I didn't think that 14.5% abv in a 330ml bottle would have me reeling all that much. And to be honest, at the start it didn't… but now I'm faced with an empty glass, I'm definitely feeling the effects :).
It's a very nice marriage of 2 IPAs. I can certainly tell that it's been aged in whisky casks. All the Brewdog beers are characterised by the large amount of various hops, but in this case it's off-set by the almost liquorice aftertaste (there will be no prizes for guessing how many attempts it took me to spell liquorice... it was a lot :(.)
(I reserve the right to heavily edit this post in the morning... "Who wrote this load of ***ed-up pretentious ****ocks" etc)
