Today I ventured to a local college to talk to some media students who are helping us out with an upcoming collaborative project, more about that much later.

The visit involved me giving a half hour lecture to a group of around 100 students about Japanese denim, raw denim, the denim sub culture, denim contests, sick fadez, and the brands and people involved in the niche market.

It was an interesting experience…..for me at least.

Second picture had me thinking you forgot your wallet and they got you out the back! Had to re-read and see it was Lowes :). Dinners in the US are just something else

Snowy the Ice House is a small diner good breakfast pizza and ice cream. Shady Maple is big 2200 peaple can eat at one time here.

A dear friend of mine has been helping me re-shingle my roof. We started a few weeks ago but we had to stop when we realized my skylight was rotted out. I had to order a new one, which was of course special order. It finally came in, and we're installing it today and finishing the shingles on that portion of the roof.

All of the lightly colored boards are new boards that replaced broken or rotted ones. By doing this work ourselves I'm confident that I saved over $10K.
