Has anyone had any experience with Swedish M1909 Field Coats? Just a question on sizing really, I recently bought one off eBay (size 2) which the seller had marked up at 38" chest, I have read elsewhere that the come up very large so am hoping it fits my 40" chest, the seller does have a refund policy in place but was hoping someone here may have owned/tried one.

Managed to get the size pretty spot on the thing weighs in at 4 kilos and is incredible in person.

Unfortunately not, drawback of having a child photographer. I'm pretty sure that it fits like its meant to, definitely my size, just not sure that it's me  :-\

Gav yes its meant to fit like that as the guys layered their clothes under it back then in their situation. Great jacket, from which year is it?

Thanks guys (fuck you Seul), not sure which year David to be honest, it has no identifying labels or markings at all apart from a shoulder patch of the 13th Airbourne.
