Heard back from Viberg. The Country Derby Boot can be done in the 2005 last, and they have both the Black and Brown Wax Flesh still available.
Just a heads up, trail and arrow. You now have two.
great!
mike, what's with you? -
i honestly believe they just refer to it as the work boot last or something similar
if you scan threw the viberg thread you should be able to find my build
i believe i just copy and pasted what i ordered from the emails to here
heres a pic the day i got them
the toes not overly aggressive looking like the 310
but not flat and girly either
i think it's vibergs most under used last -
i'm almost positive it doesnt have a number
i took the wording right from the burg & schild description
and in all my talks with morgan and jason it's been called the work boot last1940 service boot (5 hole 6")
work toe last
single brown midsole
vibram 705 brown sole and heel
icy mocha cxl toe
black cxl shaft
icy mocha cxl heel
black tongue
brass eyelets
black leather laces
and stitching, not sure what color was used in the boot im copying, but id go the same route
12.5 eethat's for sure right from an email with jason

what i would like to see is a pic of all the lasts made into the same boot
so say natural cxl all service boots
all same sole and configuration
then you could REALLY see the differences in the lasts
to me all the flatter toe styles look the same
maybe a line up shot of them all marked would be super helpful too
when you're comparing lasts but the boots not even close to the same configuration it's hard to focus on that and not the rest of the boot
for me anyways -
I'm still with you, Snowman. Work last can be made in my size, too.
1/2 way there, woo hoo! :). natehate, thanks for posting the extra info over night. I agree the last looks extremely well balanced.

There is also a Viberg order thread on reddit. I raise this not to dilute this effort, but to provide an alternative for efforts that haven't reached critical mass here.

^I'm in. Something similar was proposed on the first page with CXL, but I'm happy to swap leathers and I like the details you've chosen.
I know I've committed to a lot, but I'm hoping that some come to fruition (if they all do I might be in trouble, but let's cross that bridge when we get to it).
