Watches - another OCD problem

Lovely one there G

I really enjoy how the Omega calibre 9301 merges minutes and hours for the chronograph and thus uses only two subdials. I also like how the date is at 6 and the power reserve is 60 hours. I don't like that you can't quickset the date though.

It's official. Given that these guys are customers of mine and neither Mr & Mrs Blancpain or Mr & Mrs Tudor ever buy anything from us, and I prefer to support my friends and customers if possible, I'm getting one of these. Still not sure whether to go stainless or bronze, but when they show up here, I'll make a final decision. I'm getting watch #25, guess who I've reserved #21 for…...?
The PP and the JLC are in for auction later this month - I guess we'll pay some of the mortgage off…..

Love em. Wear em well Padmores!
-
I prefer the bronze, myself.

They're both great, and it's awesome you decided to buy something unique, while also supporting those who support you. It's pretty cool to own #25 of an up-and-coming brand, too.
For what it's worth, I vote bronze, as well. It just screams IH. It might not be the most formal choice, but really how often do you have to dress formally?

Nice, G. Aren't Pinon something to do with a guy (Piers?) who was pretty tight with the Bremont guys? Maybe even had something to do with their unofficial forum, Alt1tude?
Regardless, they look like solid watches - even if I'd struggle to pay list for one…
Bear in mind that bronze discolours a LOT as it oxidises. I owned a bronze Anonimo for a while that just got darker and darker. Granted, you can polish them back up again but that's not what everyone wants from a watch.

Fwiw, steel with the leather zulu-style strap would be my choice - and is more IH to my eyes!

Hahaha definitely joking. Hideous, no?
