Watches - another OCD problem

Jii, having convinced you that you don't need another watch, there's always the indestructible Victorinox INOX. It's quartz, but don't hold that against it, and so over-engineered you can drive a tank over it. Twice.
That Sub looks nice. D666, have you seen the new Sea Dweller 4000? It's similar to a Sub, but a bit more burly.

I've seen the Dark Knight, and I'm not sure if the dial is that clear.
The Bathyscaphe Chronograph will be available in black ceramic, and I think would be a more interesting option. It's going to be 16,000 CHF (about $18,000), not sure how that compares to a Fifty Fathoms.

Pop quiz: Orient Mako XL or Seiko 7002?

I'll be the contrarian- Mako XL. Get it with the blue dial, which is one of the best blue dials I've ever seen at any price.

I've been messing about on the watch decision front for months now, I originally wanted a Mako, then a Monster, then a Seiko SK007, then a 7002 and have finally purchased….....a Mako XL. Spent a fair portion of the morning trawling through watch forums for opinions, reviews etc.... and went with the Mako XL with a black face and bezel and a shark mesh bracelet.
I know for most of you guys that getting a cheap diving watch probably isn't a big decision, but I know absolutely sod all about watches. For the last 18 months I've been wearing an old Rado Voyager that I got free with a pair of glasses (strange I know), but that is in dire need of a service and minor repair so I finally took the plunge on a diving watch.

I quite like that tbh, but as you pointed out there is a hefty premium on it for the custom parts.
