Die Deutsche Osterwochenende

Ha!
Thanks for spilling the beans.
And, I'm sure you couldn't care less and probably did it on purpose, but just to live up to the cliché of the humourless, ever correcting German: it's DAS deutsche Osterwochenende, weekend being neuter in our wonderful grammar. So may der deutsche Osterwochenende be fun-filled for the whole lot of you all.

On Friday the Germans toured London, along the way finding sunglasses…
Tina was introduced to Belgian fruit beer. Seul would (hopefully) approve.
An Easter Island Maoi over the Easter weekend.
Support your local denim shop. Tina got her first pair of proper jeans, and was heard to utter something about sick fades. It's a slippery slope from here…
Savile Row Police Station. Obviously where the fashion police work.
And Steffen trying on SimonC's new, red shirt. (You have to keep an eye on the Germans, or they'll be away with it…)

On Saturday morning we took a walk down to the National Gallery, passing a giant blue cock (stop sniggering at the back) on the fourth plinth at Trafalgar Square.
Emil stuck his tongue out.
After that we headed to Gosport. Upon arrival we found Paula had a chocolate stash that approximated her own bodyweight. So we added to it with some Class A Belgian stuff…
There was an even larger pile of leather jackets.
Trail and Arrow tried on Giles's glasses, and went full metrosexual. Never go full metrosexual…
Meanwhile Van Olzon went full badass in an old Lee jacket.

Great pics, keep em coming. Also, damn that red shirt looks great!

Steffen, Tina, Emil and I braved the Gosport climate to take a walk along the creek this afternoon.
Down on the hard by the marina was the old Spirit of Yukoh Open 60. Last raced in the Velux 5 Oceans in 2006 to 2007, and been up for sale since then.
There was a newer boat behind her, but I couldn't get a clear shot, and I'm not sure which she was.
One of the historic warehouses on the quay. This was built over the road on cast iron columns.
The view over the river.
Everyone who visits Gosport photographs the Explosion! signs along the road. Today we made it up there, and they definitely had bigger weapons than anything posted in the guns thread…
Steffen decided to take on a tank!
Explosion! Needs! You!
A shipwreck? Or was it just the locals doing the nautical equivalent of stealing the alloy wheels off a car?
Dirty van…

There's a dude who looks as if he's had a long day (not Alex).
