Oh, I thought we were talking color–yeah, that's pretty awesome. The tarnish would be gorgeous too.

Hi All. Just bought a pair of Beatle Busters and after a few days of wear they seem to be working out well. I'm in love with the denim for sure. I'm thinking about getting another pair of jeans to complement the Busters. I'd like something with a looser fit for harder work conditions (big home repair projects this summer) when I need a little extra room to maneuver.
I got the BB in size 40 (an older, bigger guy). The BB are a bit tight in the upper block, though I know they'll loosen up some more. How would people compare the fit of 634S with the BB? I see the measurements and know the 40 in the 634S measure an inch or so bigger in the waist and thigh. How does that translate in real life?
Should I go with the 40 in the 634S or maybe size up? My looser jeans measure about 41 - 41.5 now, thighs more like 14.

Well, I pulled the trigger and took Giles' advice … and, of course, he was spot on.
First, let me say that the customer service at Iron Heart UK is really amazing. I ordered on the weekend and I received helpful emails right away from Giles and his staff. They had the jeans shipped out on Monday and they arrived at my home in the NYC area tonight (Tues. night). Wow!
The 634S is perfect for those times that I need a little more room. Compared to the Busters in the same size, they are more roomy in the hips, thighs, and legs. This will help when I working hard on the house this summer. I love the Busters too (they are breaking in nicely) and I will wear them on dress down days at work and out on the town. Truthfully, I'll probably alternate them quite a bit.
But the best part of both - the beautiful denim. I love it! Even though summer weather is on the horizon, I'm going to keep on wearing them (OK, maybe not on the 90+ degree summer days).
Now, I don't have any Iron Heart shirts yet ... I wonder what's next?

That's why we put up with Giles. Well, the service and Paula of course. Wear in good health! I recommend the Wabash western next.

"A couple" he says.

Yeah, I'd like to see @derivative666 's definition of a lot…..

Thanks for the suggestion, mcclaincausey! I've been looking at it and am real tempted, especially given Giles has one in my big guy size. I think you guys are trying to enable my budding addiction, as jock1624 said.
derivative666, I may take you up on that some time, but it's likely that I'll continue my impulsive buying before I get the chance!

I purchased an IH denim jacket last year that I'm very happy with, and I'd now like to try out IH jeans. I'm just looking for a little help with sizing.
I typically wear Nudie - Average Joe jeans with a 32" waist in dry denim and 33" in pre-washed. After following the IH waist measuring instructions, it seems that my jeans measure ~17.25" - 17.5" at the waist; times two would be 34.5 - 35".
Since IH-634S will stretch, would folks recommend I purchase the 34" waist? Should I even go down to the 33" waist?
Thanks,
-Craig
