it was an epic match. not too happy as a united fan i am not too happy about it. the ref had plenty to do with the outcome of the scoreline too…
-
Wow, just…..wow.
Personal note - Papiss Cisse finally looked like a striker again yesterday after two years of barely looking like a footballer. Just shows what 4 months away from Pardew can do for a player.
Great to see so much love and respect for Jonas yesterday too.

Shit weekend to be a Spurs fan! The team were too complacent against West Brom and had no spark at all aside from a brief spell in the second half. Abysmal defending, poor passing and wasted opportunities to score on the break. I thought we'd learned these lessons the hard way last season but evidently not.
Good to see Newcastle draw against Hull and what a result for Leicester. A weekend of interesting results.

not just a week of interesting results. it's going to be an interesting league this season. i wouldn't be surprise if the points by the end from 1-10 or even 15th place would be like 10-15 points apart. that's how close this season might actually get. 3-way team battle for goal difference on the final day perhaps.

From your mouth to God's ear. Going to be an epic season.

My boys a gooner ….the shame.

I tried to get him to support Newcastle

His other team….

Arsenal just aren't good enough. Chelsea may win by 5.

I knew going 1-0 up was never going to end well, better than losing, I guess!
-
I thought it was dreadful. Dominating possession at home against the Spuds is not such a great feat. And the injuries oh my god the injuries…
-
All that possession led to very little for Arsenal didn't it? Pochettino's got the tactics right for the derby and had our midfielders drop back quite deep and then play on the break after Arsenal had had their kickabout. At the back, Kaboul and Lloris both had excellent games. It was a fun match to watch and there was a lot of promise on show but we've got to make more of chances up front. Great Chadli goal though.

I was listening to the north London derby on the radio whilst driving and the pundit (Stan Collymore) was getting more and more animated as the match went on about how the Gunners looked to be playing 5-a-side style football with too much possession without any end product. I realise that they are maybe missing Giroud as a target man but even so, get the pissing ball in the box!!
It sounds as though Özil was pretty anonymous again too…..?
-
Özil I thought was good given the way they were using him. He certainly wasn't offensive as he has been in matches past.

Gotta say I loved 'Arry's appraisal of Taarabt's fitness, it'd be nice if a few more 'professional' footballers were given the same treatment. Liverpool were soooo lucky to get the points, Real are gonna maul 'em Bale or no Bale.
