Sugar Cane - SC1947 (old style)
-
Just taken a picture (rather poor picture at that via iphone), just trying to work out how to post on here. :-\

thanks for the effort zip-head.
crappy image is always better than no image :O)
plus i thought you were just a troll playing with our emotions by talking about old deadstock unworn jeans & what you should do with them.
post more pictures. it gets easier, jajajjaja
sorry small keyboard. . . . hahahahaha

I understand both sides on this one. I'm afraid I have the collectors gene that seems to cover, denim and other such covetable vices too. Will take some more pictures when home from DK. I assume other than the tab and pocket stitching, that this model still is the same?!
-
Honestly dude, I wouldn't worry about it since imo those jeans aren't that special. It's not a discontinued cut or fabric, and the only two things different about it are the tab and the arcs (latter of which I'm not even a fan of aesthetically). Wear them if you want to wear sugar canes!
-
Imo at least… but I'd just wait until you really want to wear the to make a decision. If you have a rotation you're happy with then there's no sense in brazenly opening and wearing something that you might regret later, especially if you're no feeling the itch to really break them in now.
-
Thanks chaps, you've given me some good things to consider here. As you say, onthe basis I have a current rotation, and have now added some old IH which I hadn't been wearing, which I like even more, I shan't be in a rush to crack them open so to speak.
I found along with these now some old Imperial Denim as well, which had also slipped the net till now. It's been quite a find, this box. -
I can take them off your hands, so you wouldn't have to worry anymore
-
Haha, that's a very kind offer indeed. I am guessing with the sizing showing on the picture, a couple of you chaps may have your eye on them as being a good fit for a new project lol!!
