2015 Spring/Summer Pipeline

After reading this entire thread I can't believe that no one has mentioned the lightweight checked work shirts. Got my eye on blue and brown for my summer shirts.

You know what? So am I. When we used this fabric for westerns, years ago….
They sold like Crack. Mind you, they were also the one shirt that wives and girlfriends stole the most too.
I am considering doing a western out of this colourway for this season too (it has to be that colourway, it is the only one I could get extra of).
Views?

I very much like that colorway. I'm not certain I could cop, with the loom breakers and another western already lined up. I would certainly try though! I'm glad the work shirt camp is getting more awesome options, but somehow westerns are a much better cut for my body.

Do it, IH checked shirts never hang around too long.

Blue looks lovely.
-
Yellow for me!
-
Same here, though the yellow looks pretty good. The blue looks pretty "normal", like something you'd see from mainstream brands (when viewed from a certain distance). Yellow > green > blue IMO.
-
Nice colours, understated. Reminds me of old tea towels at my grandparents. Unfortunately the only IH flannel material i haven't liked amongst all the IHSH flannels.
-
None of the color ways are really grabbing me, but I have a hard time visualizing what they'll look like as a whole shirt.
Nothing to add.

^^ because of the wrinkles or the light weight? I think the weight is ok for summer (even if I am afraid everytime I open the snaps, fearing it might rip). But the wrinkles are something I could live without.
-
It was the fabric content. think it was cotton and 2% poly or something like that. i found on my 2, 24's i had; that this behaved differently over time and made the fabric bunch(not the wrinkle effect). You can still see the effect on pictures of the blue 24 people post. (I will try and find the pics I am thinking of). The fabric is not up to IH durability/quality in my mind, or at least on the 24's I had. No desire to go after 14's as same fabric I am sure. If it was all cotton and didn't have this effect would be great summer weight shirt.
heres a link to a pic that shows what I'm talking about. most visible in photo of the pocket.
https://www.grailed.com/listings/36643-iron-heart-ihsh-24-myou can see how there is a black thread line pulls the fabric in. I found that this thread line shrunk more and resulted in a puckering effect that made it look very blouse like over time, and just got worse. This happened on a black and blue 24 I had. More noticeable on the blue. It may just be me, but very picky about details like these.
